1997: Anaconda (Mortal Kombat Annihalation, Boogie Nights, Air Force One, Flubber, Titanic, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Lost World)

I hate to criticize someone else's taste but, really? Really?! Mortal Kombat Annihilation? I've never even heard of anyone even liking that abomination, let alone it making anyone's 'favorite' list.

As horrible as MKA is, Anaconda, Flubber, I Know What You Did Last Summer or The Lost World aren't really much better picks for best film of 1997.

To be fair, keep in mind that these movies came out when some of these people were 10-13 at the time. Maybe I don't understand the way the list is supposed to go, but maybe some of these people aren't retroactively deciding these movies were good, but rather that at the time, as a kid, they enjoyed them.

That's no excuse for liking that movie. I was 13 when MK: Annihilation came out, saw it in theaters, and still thought it was one of the worst movies I'd ever seen.
