The Smiths are still a hugely important influence on other bands and continue to sell records more than twenty years after their break up. I doubt Linkin Park will have such an influence in twenty years.

I am incredibly biased however as I am a massive fan of the Smiths and don't really care for Linkin Park at all.

Thinking about it now, Boris should definitely be higher on my list simply because of Smile alone. However, I don't think I can knock any of the other bands above it down.

Doesn't matter I guess because I highly doubt anybody other than Cloudy (I think there's someone else here that also shares the same love for Boris, but I forget who..or if it's even true) would vote for them anyways.
