Matt
What on earth are you all talking about? I've been pretty much out of the loop on anything and everything that's happened since Thursday night
brenchill
I keep hearing in the news and on the radio "Lampard will decide on his future after the WC is finished." Am I missing something here? What is there to decide? He's 36 years old and without a club.
stokeriño
I'm all for the idea that Gerrard should "retire and extend his club career". I would hate for him to miss out on future opportunities to gift Chelsea match-winning goals.
Noah
The two england fans on my Facebook feed seemed to think England were close and perhaps a little unlucky and Woy should be given time to oversee generational change before being too harshly judged on the teams performance. I think one of them is a member on here.
Pogue Mahone
To be fair losing to Italy and Uruguay is hardly shameful, theyre two teams that most people would expect to atleast get to the quarters/maybe semi's. And I think we saw in last nights performance why some of the youngsters arent ready yet. Why Jack Wilshere hasnt been playing from the start is beyond me. The Lusophone
Because he's got dodgy fitness and wasn't in the best of form when he got injured in the first place.

Henderson has been much better in the PL this season, so deserved his spot.
Pogue Mahone
Regardless of his injuries he's still one the best talents England have. The through balls he was attempting last night though we far beyond anything Henderson or Gerrard offered.
The Lusophone
Yes. That's exactly what he is, a talent. And an unproven one at that, with dodgy fitness.
brenchill
A talent who has progressed at snail pace over the last few seasons.
Pogue Mahone
Danny Welbeck walks into the squad no questions asked though? Peculiar. Out of interest, using hindsight who would everyone's starting 11 have been? Edited June 25, 2014 by theJIZZ

Colly
Wilshere wasn't even in my squad, let alone starting.
The Lusophone
Danny Welbeck walks into the squad no questions asked though? Peculiar. Hasn't been injured. Hasn't been that bad this season. Played well and scored a few in the qualifiers. It'd have been a surprise if he wasn't in the squad to be honest.
Dan
I thought Welbeck was England's best player against Italy.
