Heavy Rain has an issue with fat PS3s?

Well, I've heard about it crashing during certain stages, if that's what he means. I'm too early on in the game to comment. Hasn't crashed on me yet.

Yeah, there's no issue with it crashing on Slims, but a lot of old ones are having sound issues and crashing. It's not a huge issue since the thing saves so often (and if you're sensible and give it about five minutes to make sure it's saved and not going to unfreeze, thus not corrupting your save), it's just a pain in the arse, it's happened to me about eight times since Thursday, but then I was playing it almost all weekend.

There is one anyway they're working on, but nobody's sure if it's an issue with the game or the system itself at the moment from what I gather.

How are you meant to update your console if you can't access the internet to get the latest update? :/

Well, you can connect to the internet, just not the PSN itself. The PS3 browser is working fine and it's where I found out about the problem here.

The people without an internet connection are screwed though, unless the issue fixes itself. They'd need to download it to a memory stick and copy it over if a firmware update was released.
