Films With Heavy Colour

Looking for films that use colour heavily in their style, stuff like Sin City, Kill Bill Vol 1, the original Matrix, preferably somewhat new (IE: 90s onwards) but anything would be appreciated. Not for any project, just want more films in that style to watch >_>

The Spirit is in the same vein, but I wouldn't recommend it to you.

You've probably seen it, but 'Minority Report' has a really interesting high-saturated, low contrast colour scheme.

Definitely check out Dario Argento's Suspiria. For a somewhat sleazy 1970's Italian Horror movie, it looks absolutely beautiful. I cannot recommend Suspiria enough.

I can' say enough good things about Lucky Number Slevin. I bet you'd dig that style.

Lucky Number Slevin is indeed a fun movie with a somewhat pulp feel, but it's not heavy in color. I agree with the recommendation, though. Definitely a film worth checking out if you want some fun.

I dunno, while it may not be heavy in colour - it definitely had a different kind of colour to it. The opening scene did, for sure. As did the flashbacks. If I remember it right, anyway.
