A band from Portland called Yot?

I went to sleep last night listening to the radio, and I can remember hearing a song that was apparently called The Aferlife. I thought the band were called Yot, but when I google that the first link is to a forum where some guy is asking why God made him a homosexual. The only other thing I remember about them was that they're from Portland.

So, any ideas who I'm on about?
