Good decision really, last thing we need is Rafael getting sent off, that'd sum up our entire day.

Nothing has gone for us today and Liverpool have clearly been the better side. Gutted, but that's football for you. Time to focus on the FA Cup game next weekend and the CL game that follows a few days later, both massive games. Hopefully we can get Rio back to full fitness for both or one of those.

SOME sources give Egil Østenstad a hat-trick against United but his third goal was chalked off by the Dubious Goals Panel. First hat trick for a Liverpool player v Man Utd since Peter Beardsley in 1990. This is the first time Manchester United have lost three out of five Premier League games since April 2004.

The title race is close at the moment but it's still ours to lose. Like I said before we have 5 games now where we can easily take 13/15 points, whilst Arsenal have got to play Liverpool and Tottenham before we play them. Should be a good run in any way it goes though.
