O'Shea's a good player to have around - he's by no means world class, but a lot of the positive things he does during a game goes un-noticed. It's a bit like the Carrick situation, who seems to have 3 bad games, followed by 1 ridiculously awesome game, helping him hold on to his starting place - and even in the games where I think he's played badly, Rio hops on twitter and praises him.

Sometimes, it's okay to have squad players. Not every player needs to be ultra-super-awesome-amazing.

You could argue some decent utility players in the mould of O'Shea guide you to titles since they help freshen up the squad, I am sure Chelsea could do with a few right now.

Sagna off injured after a nasty mid-air with Szczezny. Still 0-0 at half time - if Ipswich can stay ahead after 20 minutes or so of the second half I fancy them to get through to the final.

I've just flicked over from the United game, gutted Ipswich haven't done better. Hows the game gone, has it just been an Arsenal onslaught?

Eh, they gave it a go when they were 2-0 down but when Fabregas made it 3 they kind of accepted their fate. Not that they still didn't try to create through Wickham.

Ipswich made it hard for Arsenal. Yeah, they seemed to shake off all the pressure once Bendtner got his goal, which was a pretty damned nice finish, but it was still a hard shift for them. No idea what that incident with the ref interefering in play was all about, haven't seen that for ages. And lol at Ipswich shooting from the halfway line as soon as the starting whistle blew. Good on em. Arsenal were the better team in the end, but some of the players were having a right howler, Arshavin especially. Shame, since he's awesome when he wants to be, but it's just not coming together for him at all.
