I think that despite the tradition of superhero movies getting bad in the sequels. This looks from the trailers that are out and the prequel with Bane's escape out there. It looks like it will be a brilliant conclusion to the best superhero trilogy or sequence of three superhero movies that has ever been put out there. I desperately want there to be more but in the same sense, I don't want it to get cheapened by new actors in these roles, etc.

Which is why I started that with "While I know it's the right way to say it". I just always think "Batman" before I think "The Batman"

We have shortened it over time I guess from laziness. Which is fair. But I still say the batman out of habit more often.

That trailer is awesome, I can't wait for this film. Avengers was the must I've looked forward to a film since The Dark Knight, but my anticipation for this tops that.

I also had my first Batman influence be the 90's movies, Burton and Schumacher, where he is only referenced as Batman. Until I got into comics and even until Joker said "The Batman" in The Dark Knight" I just never really heard it.

I never say "The" out of habit or not.

Then again, I've never really been a huge Batman fan and most of my exposure to the character has only sparingly(if ever) used "The".

I am way more hyped for Bane than I was for Joker, and that's probably wrong but I don't care. Also pretty psyched for JGL's character in this. The cast is just so full of people that I like.

When I think of The Batman it makes me think of that terrible animated show.

Yes he was originally The Batman but they dropped the the a long time ago. In most media and by the majority of people he's just referred to as Batman.

Trailer definitely made me more interested in Catwoman. I was quite worried before, but she's kinda cool in this trailer. More Michael Caine is also always good. That man has the most wonderful voice of all the voices.
