Big wicket from Gul there. Really needed him to strike early. Saving Razzaq for later is somewhat risky but a risk worth taking if we get early wickets.

What other Aussies have been doing commentary during the World Cup? Ian Chappell is horrible.

Bangladesh are 62-9. I think we can safely say that we are going through. :)

Ricky Ponting is a clown.

Hell of a spell from Hafeez today. I still don't like him being on the team but his bowling has been getting better. 7-0-12-1 is impressive.

You like stating the obvious don't you? :P

Looks like we're gonna lose this easily, but Krezja, Lee and Smith could hopefully do something.

Amazingly, we haven't lost a World Cup match in a whole decade. We've been pretty ordinary in every other limited overs comp.

EDIT: Tom Moody's on now, he's an Aussie, and one of Tubby, Healy or Slater is probably there too.

Yeah but Chappell has been even worse then usual today. Pakistan was the last team to beat Australia at the World Cup way back in 1999. Australia's lowest World Cup score is 172 vs Pakistan in 1992 at Perth.

Moody has been good. I haven't heard any of Warne, Healy or Slater.

Thanks sahyder - I've c+p'd the stuff from that link to here for everyone to see without going elsewhere;

Scenario 1: If India beat West Indies

India will take second place, behind South Africa, on nine points, while England will be third and West Indies fourth. West Indies will finish with the same points as Bangladesh, but they are so far ahead on net run-rate that Bangladesh cannot catch up even if West Indies lose by a huge margin. The quarter-finals:

Pakistan v West Indies - Mirpur

Australia v India - Ahmedabad (March 24)

New Zealand v South Africa - Mirpur

Sri Lanka v England - Colombo (March 26)

Scenario 2: If West Indies beat India

In this case West Indies will jump to second place, behind South Africa, pushing India and England to third and fourth place. India will retain third place unless they lose very badly (for example, if they get bowled out for 139 or fewer chasing 300). The quarter-finals:

New Zealand v South Africa

Sri Lanka v India - Ahmedabad (March 24)

Australia v West Indies

Pakistan v England

Scenario 3: if the points are shared

If both teams get a point each, India will take second spot with eight points, behind South Africa's ten. West Indies and England will be on seven points each, but West Indies have the better run-rate, and it'll stay that way if the points are shared. The quarter-finals:

Pakistan v England - Mirpur

Australia v India - Ahmedabad (March 24)

New Zealand v South Africa - Mirpur

Sri Lanka v West Indies - Colombo (March 26)

Say Scenario 1 happens, and England meet Sri Lanka, would beating them mean they'd face the winner of NZ-SA (my logic being winner of QF3 vs. winner of QF4) or would there be a straight draw for the semi's?
