Been trying to sync up everything I can to get a proper reading on what I listen to, to the point where I will rarely listen to music if it doesn't count toward my last.fm at the end of the day... which is odd.

That is a habit I have been trying to get of the last couple of years. More often than I'd like, scrobbling affects my listening habits.

Scrobbling used to affect my listening habits. Apart from when I had to fix it at the weekend because of my iPod playing up (sorted now), I have blocked my Last.Fm page on Firefox. I aim to only look at my page once a year if possible so it truly reflects my taste in music.

At first I was all "I need to scrobble cool things! So I'll look COOL!" and then I scrobbled a bunch of Britney Spears tracks and was like, hey, fuck it.

I find myself going onto my last.fm page most of the time to check that my new music has been tagged properly :/

Heh, mine tweets my most played artists each week. On Sunday it tweeted that I had listened to Horrible Crowes 10 times. I hadn't scrobbled my iPod yet, it was actually closer to 60.

My iPod hasn't scrobbled in like 6 months, hence why my most listened to artists in that time are BBC Radio Wales, Live Audio Wrestling and BestOfTheLeft. Any idea why this is? I can't find any solutions online.

Mine kind of went weird the past year or so as a result of having to tailor playlists to be shop-friendly. Then ~I stopped caring about genre as long as the tracks didn't swear, so it's pretty much back on track now.
