In my first full game of this, I feel like I'm cheating. Al Fayed was bought out after the initial transfer window, to be replaced by a guy who gave me £30 odd millions, plus bumped up my wage budget by 400k.

I'm interested in starting a game with Fulham at some point, but I assume it will be much like my West Brom game. Gonna juggle between my unemplyed start and my Chelsea game. Somewhat tempted to try a game with Ipswich, though.

Obviously, as a Fulham fan, I find Fulham worth playing as, but they are an interesting proposition. Ageing squad with masses of experience, a few younger players that have some potential, and mid-table expectations. You then need to transition between the old squad, getting in some new players, with limited money.

survived the drop by 2 points and the assistant manager's managed to get most of our players to stay. Still money problems but things are looking better for Halifax

How do I delete my Settings files?

First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders.

XP:

My Computer

'Tools'

'Folder Options'.

The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Windows Vista and Windows 7:

My Computer

'Organize'

'Folder and Search Options'.

The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Once this is done, follow the instructions below:

Windows XP:

1. Open "My Computer"

2. Navigate to : "Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\

3. Go into the "Sports Interactive" Folder.

4. Delete the "Football Manager 2012" Folder.

Windows Vista and Windows 7:

1. Click "Start"

2. Click your username on the start Menu

3. Click on "AppData" and then "Roaming"

4. Go into the "Sports Interactive" Folder

5. Delete the "Football Manager 2012" Folder.

My team sure know how to celebrate a title win. The next week they go out and lose 4-0 to Chelmsford. Then, in the 93rd minute, my top scorer (Platt) hacks a guy down with two feet to finish the game with a straight red.

When I was playing as Halifax we had no affiliations at all until I asked for a parent club, whereupon I was given...Northampton.

I am thinking, in the spur of the moment things that I sometimes do in pre-season, of signing 40 year old Rivaldo (last played for Southampton in the game). He doesn't want that much money, he still has pretty stellar stats for a 40 year old and I am under the salary cap.

It couldn't hurt, could it?

I had Jari Litmanen for Rangers and he was some 40 years old or so. Great his first few games and then got injured quite a bit and other people took his place.

I considered signing Filippo Inzaghi (aged 39) for Chelsea. You know, for a laugh...

And I nearly signed Ade Akinbiyi (37) for Basingstoke. That's not quite the same, really.
