My thoughts were that the band hated it because the label wanted a "single" as opposed to the song itself. Maybe the two are inseparable for them, who knows. Love the song, though.

They still play it live from time to time so they can't hate it that much. It sounds, and was probably intended as, a parody of nu-metal. Still kicks arse though.

So apparently Ron Jeremy is going to sponsor the new Pepe Deluxé EP. Which is going to be funk, according to their Facebook.

Soundgarden's King Animal arrived today! I like it! Eyelid's Mouth sounds like a trippy AC/DC song, and Rowing has a great Superunknownesque solo on it (as do a few other songs).

I've got the deluxe version, with demos of Worse Dreams, Black Saturday and By Crooked Steps. I think I prefer the demo of Worse Dreams, except it's a little less clean and Cornell's voice is more muffled.

I think Gaslight's been my favourite album this year so far, but having seen Spector at Reading, and this past Thursday in Gloucester, I'd put Enjoy it While it Lasts a very close second. Sort of a throwback to early 2000's indie-synth. Love it.

Loving Biffy's new song; Black Chandelier. Seeing them in Manchester in March, hopefully get a nice mixture of old stuff and the obvious new album songs that will come with it.

New Godspeed You! Black Emperor is pretty incredible, shame that it's mostly just studio versions of pieces that have been floating around in live form for years.
