I got to the semi-finals and then realised that the results I'd predicted would of course create the specified Quarter Final matches, which from there made it seem easier to predict who those four would be.

Ah, but there lies the gamble. Do you pick your semis based on your group predictions to capitalise if they're correct, or do you hedge your bets and go with different teams in case the groups go mental...

Well I have fair faith in at least half of the draw, the Group A qualifiers are going to have to take on Germany/Holland/Portugal in the semi-finals, so it looks a safe bet. But of course you never know in these tournaments!

Fuck, this is hard, especially Group A. If it goes like I predict it'll be a messy group, with Russia and Poland going through. The two biggest gambles I've taken are Sweden beating England 3-2 and Croatia drawing against Spain. Ireland almost upset Italy
