One thing I've not been clear on is whether any kind of FFP sanctions are built into this game. I presume because they haven't trumpted the feature (not to mention that we're unsure if they really exist IRL yet), then they're not...

I think they covered this...IIRC, the actual FFP rules are not in, but Jacobson claims that the game artificially does such things with the way boards operate. I think he is full of shit.

They're running on fumes with the videos now...today's was simply entitled "Misc #1".

And so it starts: "Your staff in FM13 are actually pretty helpful, with more feedback from the board particularly at the end of the season, where you can find out what they thought of what's gone on and what you can do for the next one."

This is accompanied by a screenshot of a board's end-end-season report, which says precisely this:

Yeah I was pretty sure that they already did it too. I seem to recall them being exceedingly petty with it.

What speed internet have you got?

BT Infinity supposedly 40Mb/s. This is never true of course and they tend to limit it horribly in the evenings...or indeed any time when you'd actually want to use it.

With that said, my download speed for this averaged 6 or 7 Mb/s, hence impressed.
