There are a few missteps, but it's a decent effort. Then again, I like everything Weezer has put out. Except for Raditude. Fuck Raditude.

I gave the new Weezer a spin for the 365 album thread. I haven't really listened to them since Maladroit, but I know critics have shit on them since Pinkerton. I thought their new one was okay. There were a few good tracks. I just cringe when he starts singing tracks like Back to the Shack that are so self-referencing. It is like the Scream and Shout of the pop-punk world.

Yeah, Back to the Shack is the worst song on the album so it's a shame that that's the single they went with.
