David Moyes sacked by Man Utd

Seriously though, the longer they go without a permanent manager, the longer the cloud of uncertainty and instability remains, so surely the price will ( <_<) plummet?

Nah, when they release their first set of quarterly figures that doesn't include Champions League money, that's when the share price will drop slightly, it won't plummet.

General rule in shares is buy on bad news and sell on good news. Regardless of what people may think, sacking any manager is bad news, so canny traders would have bought shares, increasing the price (which it did, by 6% I believe) and then selling them on the next day to traders slower off the mark for an instant profit.

He's right, you know!

I should do, a stockbroker missed the decimal point and I bought the entire club for £8.63

This makes way more sense than "They fired their manager, the stock price will fall now"

Manchester United and David Moyes agree a settlement "in respect of the termination of his employment", according to League Managers Association.

David Moyes has been 'compromised to a permanent end'.

I really don't get this whole mythology around the 'Class of '92'. I've already heard them being compared to the Anfield Bootroom and now Steve Bruce is comparing Giggs to Pep Guardiola.

Being a good player and a good professional does not make you a good manager.

I think Baddar meant in the context of being a Man Utd fan, in the same way all Newcastle, Spurs and Villa fans agree David Ginola is Jesus.
