Amazing moment, I'm so pleased for Sergio. It takes a lot for me to root against Rose in any competition but Sergio winning was all I wanted tonight.

And I agree, would be nice to see Westwood finally get a major as well. He's about to turn 44 so that clock is really close to striking midnight.

Rickie might not get a bigger chance to win a major this year. He shot -7 yesterday and whilst he only leads by one stroke, most of the top players shot over par, with McIlroy and Day at 6 and 7 over.

I think he'll need to go into the weekend with a lead so that he's relaxed. I think most people have tipped him to win a major one day, but like Meacon said, it's those final few rounds where the pressure tends to get to him if he's in the mix.

Rickie Fowler is on my list of people I wish I could be. He seems like a nice guy, he's very good looking, and he's very good at a sport which pays out a lot of money to very good players.

It's a shame that Dustin hasn't shown up at his best for this one, but having four, possibly five (or six) tied at -7 should make for a very entertaining weekend's play.

Sad to see Rickie only shoot a +1 today. I hope he plays more like Day One tomorrow than today or else he may put himself out of it before he even tees off Sunday.

Did anyone just see Justin Thomas's put on the fifth hole? He tapped it parallel to the hole, it went just far enough to then catch the hill down into the cup. That was awesome.
