I feel like the variance in peoples lists shows just how good TV has been this year. TV is such an insanely high quality right now.

There's an interesting thought that the reason why there haven't been any great film comedies lately is because everyone wants to be on TV. I suspect that's going to happen with other genres as well.

I used to go cinema every other day at one point in time. I haven't been in 5 years outside of Avengers 1 and the Star Trek reboot, and even they were just to shut my dad up whining about none of his mates wanting to go. Cinema is a horrid and expensive experience these days.

There's a cinema by me in Cardiff that's £4 a ticket, which is perfectly reasonable in my opinion for the few occasions I want to go.

Mine are literally charging an extra £2 specifically for Star Wars, on top of the £5 standard charge (which is actually less than it used to be, at one point it was £7 just for a standard ticket). Absolutely noncey.

I get to see movies for free now but personally I just enjoy the theater experience and find it more conducive to watching movies than trying to do it when I can pause whenever I want. I have no self-control

I just paid over £25 for two adults and a child.

I kinda miss my Cineworld Unlimited card. Very handy when I watch 3 or 4 films every week. I just don't get chance to go any more.

Odd year for me since my viewing habits have gone down a bit and I'm woefully behind on Archer, Justified and Mad Men and didn't get around to watching Better Call Saul yet. The fight for #1 was tough because BoJack was so great but Mr. Robot is the first show in awhile that hooked me immediately and never let me go.

Wish I had more time. Watching The Man in the High Castle and Fargo and I know they would both make it if I could finish them. So many good new shows this year! I had a lot of shows that I still like pretty much just as much but there was new stuff that was just too good. Like I could include a half dozen comedies but there just isn't room!
