Games In 2016

Simple enough - what games are you potentially picking up next year?

Feb 5, 2016: XCOM 2 [PC]
The first major release for me of the year, though I may wind up waiting until the Steam summer sale to pick it up, whilst I finish up my backlog of other games, and buy cheap PS4 games I've missed out on.

Feb 5, 2016: Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth [PS4/Vita]
I've heard good things about this, I liked Digimon back in the day, and this seems to feature ones I know, so I may give this a shot

Mar 18 2016: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End [PS4]
First "day one" purchase for me. Adored Uncharted and no way I can miss this.

Apr 1, 2016: Nights of Azure (PS4)
One of numerous RPGs that will be a "wait for reviews before buying" situation in 2016.

Apr 5, 2016: Quantum Break [XBO]
I don't have a One yet, but this will be getting added to the list to buy when I do.

May 26, 2016: Mirror's Edge Catalyst [PC/PS4/XBO]
Potentially day one depending on pre-release reviews.

Oct ?, 2016: Yooka-Laylee [PS4]
Another pre-release review situation.

2016: Walking Dead: Michonne [PC/PS4/XBO]
Guaranteed buy, and Season 3 if it makes it out for 2016 too.

2016: Final Fantasy VII (REMAKE) [PS4]
Regardless of how it's released, I'll be getting it day one and hating myself for it :shifty:

2016: Tekken 7 [PS4]
Day one.

2016: Final Fantasy XV [PS4/XBO]
Day one and hating myself for it :shifty:

2016: Kingdom Come: Deliverance [PC/PS4/XBO]
Been eying this since Kickstarter, could be fantastic, could be a huge failure, interested to see which.

2016: Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force [PS4]
Unlikely to get, but keeping an eye on.

2016: Persona 5 [PS4]
50/50 on getting this, never played Persona, but heard great things.

2016: Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom [PS4]
Day one, no questions asked.

2016: Exist Archive [PS4]
Waiting for more details to gauge my interest.

2016: World of Final Fantasy [PS4/Vita]
Looks like really silly fun, will almost certainly pick it up, for cheap if nothing else.

2016: Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness [PS4]
50/50. Another big series I've never played but want to.

2016: Dragon Quest XI [PS4]
Though I have played DQ before, this is still 50/50.

2016: Project Setsuna [PS4]
Really excited for this. If it is what is promised, then day one.

2016: Megadimension Neptunia VII [PS4]
Another RPG for the long list.

2016: Horizon Zero Dawn [PS4]
See above.

2016: Detroit: Become Human [PS4]
Day one.

2016 Q4: Mass Effect: Andromeda [PS4/360]
Day one.

2017?: Gran Turismo 7 [PS4]
More likely 2017, but I've not played GT in a looooong while. 50/50 on getting it.

2016: Gears of War 4 [XBO]
Will be the first purchase for XBO I make, when I get one.

The annual releases
You know the drill, Pokémon, FM 2017 (probably around X-mas) and Assassin's Creed (a year after release).

Don't forget TellTale: Batman, that's coming out in 2016 as well. Next year should actually be the busiest for Telltale, they've never released four 'new' titles in one year, normally its 1 release while another one continues, like Borderlands and Game of Thrones this year.

To be specific, that four is made up of;

TellTale: Batman
Walking Dead: Michonne
Walking Dead: Season 3
Game of Thrones: season 2

Probably just World of Warcraft's new expansion, Legion. I don't have a current-gen console so all of that stuff is out the window for me, and probably 95% of it I wouldn't be interested in anyway. If there's anything else particularly interesting that comes out on PC, I may pick it up. >_>

It depends on how fast I can beat the games that I have. I made a promise to my gf that I wouldn't buy another game after Christmas until I'd beaten 5 of the ones I already have and I can't include the ones I've already beaten. If I can manage to do that then I'll definitely be picking up the two Final Fantasy games, Project Setsuna, Telltale Batman, Uncharted 4 and that's probably it unless Rockstar puts something out this year.

There's only one game:

No Man's Sky.

Actually, I'm quite looking forward to Overwatch, Adr1ft and one or two others (including annual titles such as Madden).
