Covers

I do like a good cover version. Especially a good punk cover of something. Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are a good start, but how about something else?

This being one of my favourites:

 Fuck knows who it is by but I love it. Please, suggest a good cover of a motown song for me.

I love punk covers, got into them after watching Rob Viper and BxB's highlight videos and they would use a lot of these covers unfortunatly they got copyright claims and disapeared. Although the plus was it exposed me to the Gimmes and Reel Big Fish. The Punk Goes albums are an interesting bunch as long as you dont mind the risk of those screaming punk bands.

This is one I tend to head to when I got a pics to do.

But that RBF fish album has Take on Me I might just download that.

I'm mostly going for punk covers of motown/80's/hip hop

I get you on the Punk Goes series, if you are lucky you have 1 or 2 tracks on an album thats work well, the rest seem to be just there to fill the quota.

As for RBF you might want to check out "A Best of Us for the Rest of Us", its a 3 disc set but one of them is exclusivly covers.
