Barely over two weeks from signing day, but the real gut punch is that when Edsall took over as UConn's head coach, he called the kid on New Year's Day to reassure him that his scholarship was safe and the school still wanted him.

I hope karma bites them big time and whoever got the scholarship turns out to be the drizzling shits.

He's not necessarily fucked, he received an offer from Rhode Island and his coach is working to try and get him in at other schools. It's still supremely shitty to pull the kid's scholarship like that, though, especially after calling him just to reassure him that he'd be OK.
