Evil Dead wasn't that good. I mean, it wasn't bad, but definitely not something I'd put in a top ___ movies list.

Monsters University was fine, but it came no where near capturing the magic of Monsters Inc.

Alpha Papa was just fantastic. Perfect way to cap the Alan Partridge franchise.

Captain Phillips was great, first time in ages Tom Hanks has been at his best. Probably since Catch Me If You Can actually.

Star Trek into Darkness was okay, but pretty much generic action film now. Mainly disappointed for it being a big step down from Star Trek.

Only one in the first group I've seen yet is Into Darkness, which... man. As a movie it's not that great, as a Star Trek movie it's kind of awful. I love that cast but hope they're better served in the next one.

Unfortunately only two I've managed to see are Stoker and The Spectacular Now.

Stoker was disappointing. I was told it was going to be good, it wasn't though it was definitely trying to be.

Spectacular Now I'd normally say was great, but as far as coming-of-age films go it has a lot of competition in 2013. Definitely deserves recognition though.

The Spectacular Now was amazing, second favorite coming-of-age film of the year for me.

Nebraska was really, really good as well.

The rest are horror movies, which are the worst, and Saving Mr. Banks which I need to see, but I probably won't for a long time.
