Monaco completely cancelled as there's no chance of them being able to re-organise it for another date.

As we would have been gathering our squad for March fixtures this weekend, it felt an appropriate moment to write a message to all of our supporters.

Look out for each other. Please don't suffer alone, and remember that our great country has come through these enormous challenges before - and, together, we will do so again.

We were due to play next week and to represent you all this summer, but now is clearly not the moment for us to take centre stage. The heroes will be the men and women who continue working tirelessly in our hospitals and medical centres to look after our friends and families. They won't receive the individual acclaim, but we all know their importance is beyond anything we do on the pitch.
When we play again as an England team, it will be at a time when not only our country but the rest of the world as well is on the road to recovery. Hopefully we will be closer to each other than ever, and ready for the beautiful distraction that football can bring.

To play in a European Championship next summer will still be possible for all of our squad and so we shouldn't spend another moment thinking about the postponement of the competition.

I feel sure that, when that moment comes, I will never have been prouder to be the leader.

Again on behalf of us all, I wish you and your families strength and love to thrive through the challenges ahead.

Round of 32 – To be played from Thursday 26th March – 7pm
Round of 16- To be played from Saturday 28th March – 7pm
Quarter-finals – To be played from Monday 30th March -7pm
Semi-Final – To be played from Wednesday 1st April -7pm

*Both teams involved in each individual fixture will liaise with each other to agree on a time to play. Individual clubs will then promote and stream their own games on their own channels.*

Can we watch? Yes, Orient will be streaming games via Twitch – all other teams have been advised to use the same platform, however they’re welcome to use another.

Who is playing for Leyton Orient? Goalkeeper and academy graduate, Sam Sargeant.

Can clubs change their competitor? No, we’d like teams to use the same player throughout the tournament, unless a valid reason can be given.

Can eSports/professional FIFA players compete? All entrants have been encouraged to use either a first team squad player, a member of staff or a fan. Ultimately, it is up to each individual club to pick their player!

With no match day income for the foreseeable future football clubs are struggling and things will only get worse.

And now after the current game finishes that's the end of our Aussie rules footy until at least May 31. Our rugby league, continues to baffle me, by saying they are going to go ahead with their season even though an increasing number of states are introducing 14 day quarantines periods.

Some positive news through all this. NASCAR on FOX have decided to start the NASCAR Pro-Invitational, running a 100 race with a full grid of former and current NASCAR drivers, including guys like Dale Jr, Busch², and Jimmie Johnson.

The racing is a shitshow due to the virtual racing skill gaps, but it's super cool to see everyone having a great time and giving it a go. Lots of drivers have always pledged money for charity.
