I know they get slated, and it's easy to do so, but Coldplay's latest album is/was free on Google Play yesterday. And honestly, it's pretty good. I like the music, it's nice and relaxed. I'd say that the biggest problem is Chris Martin's voice (in general), but it's a pretty decent album nonetheless.

Been listening to the new Noel Gallagher album a lot. He's a brilliant songwriter. Just, you know, ignore the utterly meaningless lyrics (now with 75% more dead metaphors!).

After finding out about them last week, I've been absolutely hooked on Royal Blood. It's been stuck in my head for that entire stretch and it's driving me nuts in a good way, it's insane that they are such a young band but yet have such an amazing sound.
