Turns out Bobby's not been attempting to go Nomad, he's been recruiting people for the Redwood chapter.

Tara seems pretty hellbent on going to jail, filing for that divorce, and letting Wendy take the kids out of Charming. Honestly, not the kind of call you can fault a person for given the club's history and everything. That lifeless sex scene in earlier episodes definitely foreshadowed the divorce, though, and it'll be interesting to see how Jax, Gemma, and the rest of the club deal with that.

Still haven't done anything with that school shooting (what a weird sentence). I was expecting Jax to bring it up at that meeting to put a big emphasis on why they should get out of guns, but nope.

The chase scene was great. Something this show really excels at is great chase and action scenes, and this episode had 'em. Also, the end - "I'm sorry for my behavior today."

And - the return of Walton Goggins!

Good episode though! Best one yet this season, I feel.

Holy shit, a feelgood ending. I'm not used to feeling pretty upbeat after Sons of Anarchy.

I guess they realized they accidently had a feel good ending last week and made up for it this week...

Shit, that was still pretty tame by the show's usual standards.

I think most everyone already figured out that Tara was lying about the baby and had a plan like this up her sleeve, so it took some of the oomph out of that whole moment for me. I'm just surprised no one died, was really expecting Ratboy or one of those new patches to die. I hope I'm wrong and they stay on for the rest of the season/show's duration, though.

Also I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the positive treatment of a transgendered character. I was really dreading hearing a bunch of "lol tranny" jokes from Jax, Chibs, et al but instead they treated Venus like decent human beings.

And holy shit, their new clubhouse is an ice cream shop. Best thing ever.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot, I really really liked Venus' speech about how what her family does is hate and leave a trail of scorched earth. I'm probably going to go back and rewatch the episode just to transcribe that. PS: Walton Goggins, still fantastic.

Felt really uncomfortable during the scene in the child porn ring. Was so happy when Jax blew her fucking head off.

I honestly don't see this ending well for Tara in the long run. It's a toss up between Lowen, Wendy and Unser as to who spills the beans to Jax but I have a strong gut feeling that someone will and before the series ends, Tara is gonna end up on the wrong side of things. I'm also thinking that Eli might see through this like how he saw through Nero being set up for that dead escort.

Also, Walton Goggins is amazing. Just plain amazing.

Lady digging through the trash is that girl's mother, hence why the woman in the photo looked familiar to Jax, since he's seen her around the ice cream shop before. But why the hell would she fake her death?

That'd be a pretty massive coverup though, wouldn't it?

"Oh, hey, yeah, lied to you about your mom. And we also got the newspapers and news outlets to lie about it too, because they wanted to disappear her as badly as I did."

I'm guessing she plays a much larger role in JT's death or something.

Also, I'm so conditioned by this show to think everyone in it is an awful person so as soon as they visited the mechanic's house I was thinking he was going to be all "I BLAME YOU TOO, STAB STAB MURDER MURDER RAAAAAARGH whoops ya killed me".

I dunno but this season has really been pretty great lately. I'd say after Toric was killed the season really flourished. I'm enjoying it.
