Not really Arctic Monkeys inspired, and it's quite mainstream so you'd probably know if it was... but it's the only thing that comes to mind: Plus 44 - Lycanthrope. But I'm not sure if "When the lights go down" is repeated in the song, or if it's part of a verse. A google search brings up Faith Hill - When The Lights Go Down, but I've downloaded it from Limewire... And it certainly ain't Arctic Monkeys inspired.

What pisses me off is the "Hey, Hey, You, You, I could be your girlfriend." Its too stereotypical of a North American pop star, which is really annoying when she spent the last 4/5 years trying to show everyone that she's different. Also that part where she almost raps... Odd. This song seems like a girly version of a RHCP song, actually. Though much worse.

Lee Evans is hated a lot since he became mainstream, to be honest, I've always found him funny, but not really funny. Dave Spikey, however, is all kinds of awesome. I imagine the likes of Hugh Dennis and Paul Merton would be good stand-ups. Don't get the Ricky Gervais love, he's good in the office, his stand-ups are really overrated to be honest.

Which Mock the Week episode does someone I believe Frankie Boyle - although it may have been Andy Parsons - make the "Fucking...... BOO!" joke. I'm pretty sure it was on the news generator rounds, as well. A link to the video or just what else happened on that episode so I can track it down would be much appreciated.

Little Britain was funny... For the first series. Then series 2 was ok... Series 3 was really shit. Little Britain abroad was quite fun though. Otherwise I agree that we need more like OFITG and OFAH, and that the Extras is just not funny, I can't get into it.
