Right everytime I look at the weather on met check it makes me slightly happier. Currently: Thursday: Rain in the afternoon but less than a cm in total Thursday night->Friday morning about a cm of rain Friday is sunny with light showers Saturday->Sunday is dry/sunny and getting warmer. I Used to be really in to Deftones about 8 years ago when i was starting to get in to more latrenative music, I actually got the first three albums in chronological order and really they do improve in quality as they go on. For me they are actually one of the bands that most likely got me in to bands tht can be melodic and then a bar of music later hit me with a wall of sound. Despite not really been on a list of my favourite or most influential bands I have listened to their early stuff a lot and the best way they apply to me is influential but not really a band I love, just a band with records i like.

I assumed pretty quickly that it was Ben as well. Neither a friend, nor family to Jack, but someone who's death meant enough to make him want to kill himself. I'm guessing Ben had good reasons for what he was doing on the island that they never realized until leaving it, and now Jack feels obligated to see them through. Something like that. Tickets sold out so fucking quick online so i made an early morning queuing trip down to hmv here in leeds to get it, hour and a half of cold later i have mine and my girlfriend tickets for the close to extortionate amount of £304... god i remember when it was just £100 for a ticket like 3 or 4 years ago, deffo not in line with inflation (says the economics student) Line up looks really good to me, more and more biffy as well will have seen them at least three times before the year is out

January 2005 little local gig for a screamo band called STAND, one of the guitarists of the band had died of cancer so they got together a memorial show, i somehow got on the guest lsit despite not knowing him that well, the out pouring of emotion was so immense, seeing grown guys, all in to Hardcore punk bursting into tears, to see the out pouring of love for the music (he was also the founder of a small record label) was so immense i couldnt believe it and i had tears in my eyes for a good portion of the evening, and when they STAND took the stage, minus one member, and the vocalist just burst out crying i dont think there were too many dry eyes in the house. when i saw Biffy clyro and the played "all the way down" man, goosebumps all the way down my body I am especting tomorrow to be special several of my favourite little bands are playing their (for the forseeable future) last shows in Grimsby and STAND are reuniting (as a 4) and i am gonna go fucking nuts for it.

I hate to do this but Enter Shikari have re-goddamn-diculously grown on me, how can you not love a mixture between trance and hardcore? oh and everyone should love DARTZ! as they are just fun guys and are a fun band
