  1. Girls Aloud FTW. I'd shag them all. Tweedy's my least favourite, but I still would, just to annoy Ashley Cole. Seriously, everyone needs to track down their cover of "Teenage Dirtbag". There's just something arousing about hearing them sing "come listen to Iron Maiden, baby, with me... ooooh-oooh-oooooohooooooohooooooooooooooh!"
  2. If you can't love yourself, no-one will.
  3. 07/08 season not going so well. Despite me having a much better squad than last year, and a still awesome even at 34 Figo, I'm sitting in 15th in the Premiership after 12 games. Went out of the League Cup to fucking Brentford in the 3rd round, and the players are getting annoyed at the fact that we're underachieving. Gah, play better and you won't be underachieving, you twats! At least it's going well in Europe, made it to the group stages of the UEFA Cup, beat Hadjuk and Brugge, lost to AEK, still top of the group with Porto coming to Goodison next. It should be an interesting season, but so far it's just been fucking annoying.
  4. It's been available in the UK for months, and I've been trying to get my hands on it since then without actually having to... y'know... pay for it. Hell, it looks like great entertainment and any reviews of it I've seen say it is just that, but honestly, I just can't see myself paying for it.
  5. Absolutely fucking gutted. Managed to sneak into the UEFA Cup through Fair Play with Everton, pummelled teams in the early rounds and opened the Premiership season with a 4-0 win over West Ham. Then it starts to go to shit, with a 1-0 loss to Middlesbrough and a 3-2 loss to Lillestrom at home (!) in the 1st round proper of the UEFA Cup. So I think, here we go, Man Utd, just what I need right now. 28 seconds in and Andy Johnson puts me 1 up. 6 minutes later and a Mikel Arteta free-kick doubles my lead. Gary Naysmith gives away a penalty for Scholes to convert, and it's 2-1. Johnson runs up the park and scoes a wondergoal to make it 3-1. Then Naysnith goes and gets himself a straight red card, right before half time. Fucker. Still, I'm leading 3-1 at half time. Go into the 2nd half and Saha gets a goal with 20 minutes left, but I'm still 3-2 up. Then goals from Saha and Rooney in the final 2 minutes, and I lose 4-3. Absolutely gutted. I was near tears.
  6. How can you even send them out if you can't sign them because they can't get a work permit?
  7. I'm guessing that explains why Dio's so low and why there's no David Coverdale as well >_>
  8. You missed out Ozzy. No way in hell should be higher than Bruce or Meat Loaf.
  9. I think that's just an excuse to save us from another Sylvia vs Mir fight.
  10. Any time Vic Reeves is on 8 Out of 10 Cats, they are fucking hilarious together.
  11. Not sure if anyone's really realised it, but the Mexican leagues are a goldmine for talent. Sadly my Maldonado deal fell through because he couldn't get a work permit, but a great Chilean striker, Reinaldo Navia, I picked up for £2M. I've also been told that there's a definite purchase in a Mexican DM called Pineda, and a keeper Ochoa, who I should sign whatever the cost. I doubt I'll be able to get him though, again because of work permit issues.
  12. Hmm, looks good but I doubt it's worth upgrading from CS2.
  13. Bobby Robinson, Dumbarton Under 19s, an old friend of mine, lives on the same street as me. What? So I'm a little behind on the 'my friends are in the game' thing
  14. I can't say enough good things about how fantastic Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Whitesnake, Thunder and the Scorpions are live. Seriously, they just have something that the majority of 'young' bands don't, it's hard to say what it is really. I guess in a lot of cases, music is like a fine whisky - just gets better with age. I say that as a musician and an alcoholic EDIT: Velvet Revolver and Dio too.
  15. I remember seeing that it went from £25-£300 at Manchester, so you're talking $50-$600. Any reports I've heard were that even the nosebleed seats were awesome though, so I'm definitely interested.
  16. Not seen it reported here, but UFC 75 is almost certain to take place at London's O2 Arena on September 8th. Michael Bisping will be fighting, with some of the rumours putting him up against Matt Hamill or Lyoto Machida; Jesse Liaudin will be on the card; and the main event looking likely to be Cro Cop vs Arlovski. If it is, I'm there.
  17. Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man Scorpions - Winds of Change Alice Cooper - Dangerous Tonight Judas Priest - A Touch of Evil Dream Theater - In the Name of God
  18. I thought I had one, I really did. I put in "nunchuck haemorrhoid" and it had 1 result, then I realised that because it wasn't the simplified American spelling, it didn't recognise haemmorhoid as a real word. I then put in hemorrhoid, and dammit there was 14! Closest I've gotten yet is 5 2.
  19. I had two of the greatest matches ever in any of the games today in my Everton game. In a league game, I lost 5-4 away to Newcastle after an injury time winner. Their third goal was a clear offside that was given anyway, and I got warned by the FA for saying so. Ten days later and I met them at home in the last 16 of the League Cup, and despite going down to 10 men after about half an hour, I took them to extra time, when it went 3-3 in injury time. Unfortunately I couldn't hold out in extra time and lost 4-3, but dammit they were both great games. Newcastle appear to be a team I 'click' with.
  20. I have such an awesome year of music lined up. I've already seen Ash, Hammerfall and Funeral For A Friend, and the following are upcoming: June 7th - Machine Head, Lamb of God and Chimaira June 9th - Dream Theater June 12th - Megadeth June 27th - Chris Cornell July 6th-9th - T In The Park August 4th and 5th - Live at Loch Lomond - it's a fucking festival 10 minutes from my house! Faithless, Supergrass, Feeder and many more TBA August 22nd - Foo Fighters (almost forgot that there) October 28th - Meat Loaf November 5th - Alice Cooper and Motorhead November 6th - Heaven and Hell, Lamb of God and Iced Earth
