A few Chicago fans seem to dislike Campoli, but besides his blunder in Game 7 I always thought he was a nice addition to the roster. Hopefully we resign him to a fair contract and bring in a physical d-man to shore up the defense this year. Keith-Seabrook Hjalmersson-Leddy Campoli - Big D-man No UFA center really screams must have to me. But I'd rather we not have Sharp be our #2 center as a top line of Sharp-Toews-Kane is too damn sexy.

So I'm really surprised we were able to trade Campbell for Olesz, though it makes sense because Florida needed the contract to stay at the floor level of the cap. Hopefully we use the extra 7M (assuming Olesz is buried in the AHL or traded for a keg if John Madden returns) on securing a #2 center and a #4 D-Man who can move the puck. Also, lol Washington for giving us a 1st rounder for Brouwer.

So, how about Brian Campbell to Vancouver for a 2011 1st rounder?

I'm intrigued with the implications this could have, and that lineup looks pretty sweet.

Hopefully Future Soldier plays well and focuses on a team objective co-op and not run-and-gun like every other FPS seems to be recently.

I just completed the worst trade I've ever done; Brian Campbell to Florida for Jonathan Oligny. This was more of a cap clearing move that will pay off in the long term as I won't have so much money tied up in my top three defense men.

So I started a new Be A GM as the Blackhawks. Decided to sim the 2010-2011 season. Line-up in the first month so far has been: Sharp-Toews-Kane Morin-Frolik-Hossa Bickell-Bolland-Brouwer Beach-Johnson-Smith Keith-Seabrook Exelby-Campbell Scott-Hjalmarsson Crawford-Salak Only have 100k in cap space so I'm really wanting to move Campbell and bring up some of my younger D-men (Vishnevsky and Leddy are the two I'd like to take over soon), and I think resigning Sharp this coming offseason is probably #1 priority as my LW slot is a bit weak as of now. I think it has been mentioned here before, but I find the Draft in this game to be completely underwhelming. Guys never seem to develop quite right and trying to trade players ends up being a nightmare as I usually get a counter off of shitty AHL guy + 7 Round Pick offers for Marian Hossa.

I signed Zach Parise during the 2011 offseason with the Islanders. One sexy top line of Parise-Tavares-Okposo I have going now.

Watching the Hawks this season is too goddamn frustrating. We really need a #6 defenseman, a 2nd line center, and for the team to stop being sloppy.

Far Cry 2 is shit, so I'd skip that. Have yet to play either Red Faction Guerilla or Wolfenstein, but I've heard mostly good things about RFG so I'll have to check it out whenever I can get a hold of a used (or cheap new) copy. Portal makes Orange Box instantly worth a play through, so give that a try if you want a fresh experience in video games.

Looks like I need to upgrade my PS3 hard drive, seeing as I only have 12/74 GB left.
