  1. Now Southend have started to gain a few results I'm waiting for Campbell to go into court demanding they're shut down too.
  2. I wonder if my lifetime subscription is still relevant in some way 🤣 My laptop can't really handle too much so not tried installing it but it was a good little MMO, fond memories of watching PC bands playing in the Prancing Pony way back when though. Curious to see how the changes and game has developed since then.
  3. I've been enjoying it so far, not had too much in the way of bugs and shit despite being on PS4 but I have had a couple of crashes. Plus side is that it autosaves regularly so not lost a lot of time when it has. I think it'll be a lot closer to the higher expectations once the next couple of patches come through.
  4. I'm not sure how a forearm wasn't a red either, that said we've finally heard some noise from the Arsenal fans, forgot they'd let fans back in!
  5. Lo Celso twice been done for making a tackle and on a yellow card (for what was a foul). Spurs'll be somehow down to ten men early in the second half.
  6. He got the players together early in Covid to fight for the NHS, rather than calling out the government as twats for not assisting the NHS.
  7. Poor Villa, missed loads of chances and have a last minute equaliser disallowed for offside... because he was being fouled.
  8. Long time since we've seen someone booked for diving, of course it looks like that was an example of why they don't do it because he'd have looked a total idiot if VAR had (rightly?) given it as a penalty instead.
  9. So I've just turned on midway through a penalty shootout between New York City and Orlando City... The Orlando goalkeeper has been sent off half way through the shootout and all sorts of other confusion. Amazing scenes. The tiny keeper makes the save and Orlando go through!
  10. As long as nobody kicks a ball at her she'll be fine.
  11. Well, a great weekend to see how not to take a penalty!
  12. After a headlock at one end looking like a soft penalty for United but the games too dire to even garner a laughable penalty decision.
  13. Well that escalated even more than anticipated.
  14. It's a return to form, Bale makes debut Spurs don't win for ages with him near the team.
  15. I'd expect little else, they can market it now as doing fans a favour while you can't get to games but as things return to normal, if the experiment were to work, they would certainly change that system and say "if people watch "lesser" fixtures at £15 a pop, they'll definitely pay for "must see" matches now that idea's out there"
  16. Has he blamed the EU for trying to force it through yet?
  17. While we love Blood Bowl at the local a new game seems to be taking over at the moment, Counter Attack. It's a strategic football game played in real time, it's playing really nicely and feels like a decent tabletop simulation of the sport. As we've played more games we've got used to getting through balls to work, clever set piece moves, off side traps played fairly well and we're finally adapting to playing a game without set turns in a conventional way. We're coming up to the end of the first season, two games left and I'm sitting in second place 5 points behind the leaders who are coming to us this week (covid dependent) and I've a bit of breathing space before going into the transfer window. Given I've been struggling with a decent winger (little pace in the squad and those who do have pace have low dribbling skills meaning they can lose possession under the slightest pressure) means I know where to strengthen before next season. It's on Tabletopia if people want to check it out.
  18. It's hard to believe that this could have been even worse...
  19. Game broken, needs patching. Do not recommend.
  20. Well, that's been an interesting few minutes.
  21. It's ridiculous but it was it is. We saw the goal coming, the ridiculous fashion just adds to it. I'm not sure how the rules got so mental that "head the ball point blank into someones arm from behind" is given as a penalty but it is what people have to deal with now.
  22. nah, 85th minute equaliser, 93rd minute stupid penalty.
  23. He'll have days when things don't work but he's always working his arse off. On particularly shit games with Spurs he's normally at least trying to make things happen while the rest walk around and don't play him in when he makes runs.
