The Shining was quite good. Its pace feels quite slow but is never boring. Nicholson is great. I've never really seen any of his well-known work. He plays the part so well. I'm not typically a fan of horror/thriller stuff, but this was fun to watch. It was also fun to read up about how things were different from the book.

I'm not ready for baseball to be over. C'mon Cubs. Ramirez just hit one out of the park to take a 1-0 lead. That Heyward catch was pretty great. Bauer's reactions was great too.

I counted 26, more than I thought. A lot of Wes Anderson on there. I was surprised by a few of the movies that made it, even if I liked them (Assassination of Jesse James, Zodiac, and A Serious Man).
