I looooove that game but our group of friends get together to play board games all the time. Pretty sure we didn't play it right until, like, the fifth time but oh well. It's definitely my favourite board game but it takes some dedication not only to play it once, but play it more to finally get the gist of it. -
The biggest roster problem I always had with the game was the guys who had just debuted and couldn't make it into the game. With NXT becoming increasingly popular and bigger roster sizes available, this shouldn't really become an issue. It's not totally enough to sell me on the game, but it's a good start.

Fantasy baseball players, lend me your advice. Here's my dilemma. I have no hope of winning this year, so I'm going to start to trade off guys I won't keep for keepers. What do you think of this trade: I GIVE UP: Felix (too much to keep), Dallas Keuchel, and Hunter Pence I GET: Noah Syndergaard, Carlos Carrasco, Corey Dickerson and Steven Matz Am I giving up too much for these keepers?

Every time CKII updates, you need to re-install the GOT mod. Just make sure your CKII is the most updated version, then go here (www.moddb.com/mods/crusader-kings-2-a-game-of-thrones-ck2agot) to download the latest version of the mod. -

How has QI been lately? I'm probably about a season and a half behind. Stephen Fry just doesn't seem all that interested in the show anymore. I've watched a fair bit of Never Mind The Buzzcocks. It made me fall in love with Simon Amstell.

I was watching Sunday Night Baseball last night though and they had a really interesting discussion about it. It's so weird that it's basically allowed unless you're too obvious about it.

Yeah, I like the cast quite a bit. I'd probably trade out Savage for Woo and Wentworth for T-Bird, although I've taken a liking to Wentworth more than I ever thought I would have. I listened to most of the RHAPs. Pretty happy that both Mikayla and Nat Ten didn't find their way back. They don't really seem to get it. Pretty happy with the cast overall. It seems weird that there's been so much hype and now we all just have to sit around and wait until the fall to see the results play out. -
I agree with you. I just find it interesting that he thinks he plays with morals and integrity. He thinks that playing within the rules (not backstabbing anybody) means he's a hero, even though he was mean and disrespectful.

I'm not sure if you guys watch the Ponderosa videos but seeing Dan on there was really interesting. He sees himself as a hero. A man who played with integrity and morals. When you look at his game, he's not totally wrong. He didn't betray Mike, Mike betrayed him. Yet, he's so unlikable. And he treated people like garbage. Like they were stupid and beneath him. He equates being a hero as someone who plays by the rules. It's so interesting.

What's the history of hiring someone who impersonates those characters. Like, you'd think that someone could come in and do those voices. Or is that kind of like a taboo thing in animation?

He's so pompous about how good he is at the game, it's infuriating. I was sort of rooting for him after he got voted out last time but he actually just seems so awful. I want to see Shane Powers tell him what's up so badly. Working my way through all the Rob C podcasts. Just finished Stephanie and she's more likeable than I remember her being. Kelly Wentworth was the same. Can't see either of them making it in though.

Females: Ciera, Kass, T-Bird, Kelly Wiglesworth, Kimmi, Peih-Gee, Sabrina, Shirin, Abi & Tasha. Males: Jeremy, Spencer, Shane, Stephen, Jeff, Joe, Vytas, Mike, Troyzan and Jim (he was really bad on RHAP so I want to see him lose again).

I guess this kind of stuff was happening before Survivor: All Stars, but it's so interesting that people get to talk organically before going on the show. It's never really happened before. I'm not a huge fan of it (that alliances could be created before the game), but at least it adds a new dynamic to the season.
