I DID IT! HOLY SHIT I WON! :w00t: :w00t: Ran for the center at start and grabbed a golden sword that I kept mostly for mob killing. Managed to survive without encountering anyone by keeping the the edge of the world and scavenging all the chests I remembered the locations for as I went along, plus finding others hidden at the edge. Built up a nearly full set of Iron Armor (missing the helmet), found an Iron Sword, two stone swords and went on the hunt for a bow. Took me forever before I finally found one with four tributes left, and right when I did this guy comes swimming up to my island. I'd stockpiled arrows so I had a few to shoot, then he busts out a diamond sword and comes swinging. Naturally I run and pop a few other arrows off at him, suddenly he's switched to a bow and is shooting back. I'm swimming away, taking damage, but I get an idea and while he's aiming I drop under and come up at him with my iron sword. He wasn't ready and I think I crit'd him because after a few hits he was swimming away. Didn't bother chasing him, swam for land and fought as many skeletons as I could to get more arrows as I'd run out. I kept food stockpiled from my travels and gathered enough mushrooms that my one bowl healed me of most of my damages. After a bit more gathering, I hear thunder and get sent to spawn. He and the other guy I guess killed each other because I'm up against a guy with a gold sword and gold armor. I shoot my arrows at a distance, let him get close and then bust out my iron sword and start swinging. Next thing I know there's a pile of items and it says I won. I found out there were even a few spectators rooting for me. It was great ^_^ If I didn't find that bow when I did I'm certain the dude with the diamond sword had me beat. Unbelievable timing and I'm amazed I got out of the fight alive. I love this game mode!

I've nearly won a few times, best was second place where I fucked up trying to shoot an arrow at a guy and clicked a crate, getting me stuck in the screen. I frantically exited out and tried jumping back to switch to my sword but by then it was too late. Next best was third when me and another guy (who I'd not ran into all game) decided to last-minute double-team the other dude with a diamond sword. I was dishing out more damage with my iron sword and was drawing his attention away from the other guy so he could try and get some decent weaponry from the center, but because I was drawing the attention I was out first. The other guy put up a damn good fight and nearly had diamond-man I think, but ultimately still lost. Survival Games is a whole hell of a lot of fun though, I'm pretty hooked.

So worth it. Absolutely love the idea and execution of the mod and map.

... so it kind-of turns out I got caught up playing on a Survival Games Minecraft server all night Totes going to be on tomorrow though!

I FINALLY GOT THE GETH INFILTRATOR EARLIER TODAY BITCHES. LEVEL 20 AND SHIT. TEST PLAY-THROUGH WITH IT AND I'M KILLING BITCHES AND RAPING THEIR SOULS LIKE A BAWSE, BELIEVE IT. ... so yeah, totally up for a multi later tonight. Lorina and I are watching some episodes of The Office right now but if anyone's on later? It's going down.

Tonight's multi was a lot of fun. Can't wait for the next one. My Krogan Battlemaster has gotten a lot better since I got him... very different playing so close-range versus my normal Infiltrator style distance game. I like it.

After I get my Geth Infiltrator I'll probably work to promote that and then play around on another class. Will be the first time I'll ever step away from Infiltrator in the series... should be fun. This is assuming I ever get the Geth Infiltrator. Last pack I bought of the Ultimate Spectre pack or whatever only got me the Krogan Battlemaster and a bunch of upgrades. Not complaining about the Battlemaster but I was expecting one more character, sucked I didn't win out on one.

I mean, I can try and talk in a deeper voice next time for you or something, if that would make you more comfortable Ellis! We need to get you in on another one of these at some point this week. It has been awhile, hasn't it?
