  1. That's actually been pretty well known by most for a few months now if memory serves me right. As well as rumors of that plot device months before even that. Either way, I personally will look forward to it as it'll keep the Joker around & possibly if done right, give each movie the same theme yet not be repetitive. (Have the third revolve around the fore mentioned spoiler involving the Joker until at least the half way point and you could do some thing special with it.)
  2. There are a few chapters in Order of the Phoenix like that for me (can't remember what exact chapter numbers they are right now). Mostly the ones where Harry is being a emo twat and angsting over being the "chosen one" and other such mindless tribble. (Yes, I know Voldemort was supposed to be the cause for most of that...but it doesn't change the fact that Harry was a twat and that it was utterly painful to read at times.)
  3. Mine would look like this... 1.)Deathly Hallows 2.)Goblet of Fire 3.)Half-Blood Prince 4.)Prisoner of Azkaban 5.)Chamber of Secrets 6.)Order of the Phoenix 7.)Philosopher's Stone Yes, I really disliked OotP that much, though oddly I enjoyed the movie more than the actual book (which is a rare thing for me). As for the movies, they'd probably rank like this... 1.)Goblet of Fire 2.)Order of the Phoenix 3.)Prisoner of Azkaban 4.)Chamber of Secrets 5.)Philosopher's Stone While a lot was left out of (or severely cut down) from GoF and OotP movies, they were still the two most solid and entertaining ones so far. With PoA coming in at a close third due to how it lacked so little (of importance, at least) that the book had originally in it. As well as it was impressive to see it tie up so neatly like it did in the book. (Also I <3 crazy Sirius, that was a fine bit of acting.)
  4. I don't even want to comment on the horror that will be this movie... On another note, Lee was also good in the Incredibles.
  5. Kingdom Hearts 1, I got it (as a gift) when it first came out and played up until the level involving Tarzan. Apparently, I did some thing out of order storyline wise and couldn't figure out how to fix the problem so I could continue on, eventually I gave up and out it away. Fast forward several years, once again the same relative gives me Kingdom Hearts 2 as a gift. I play it, beat it relatively quickly and gets me in a kick to bring back out 1 to beat it (so I can better grasp the storyline in 2). I started a new game and it only took me a few days to beat it and I got breezed past the Tarzan level within the first day.

  7. Take it for what it is (as being at work right now I can't check it out to confirm it), but last night on G4 while discussing this they also mentioned they are planning on filming Kill Bill Vol. 3 & Vol. 4 (centered around the Bride and Bebe, her daughter). And it is nearly ready to start shooting in China (supposedly where they will be filming it all).
  8. Two spring to mind from the Rob Zombie look-a-like himself, Otis Firefly. "The boogie man's real, and you've found him" - from House of 1k Corpses to the three kids tied up and in bunny customes. "I am the Devil, and I am here to do the Devil's work" - from the Devil's Rejects to one of the two hicks. And one from a classic that whenever I hear it brings to my mind fond childhood memories.... "Where does he get all those wonderful toys?" - The Joker as played by Jack Nickelson after Batman escapes the art gallery, Batman the Motion Picture.
  9. Yeah, us Yanks who watch the Series are royally screwed at the pace the channels take. What with it up in the air if Sci-Fi will get Series 3 and BBC America (as you said) just NOW getting Series 2 (about a year after Sci did).
  10. 1.) Nine Inch Nails 2.) Rob Zombie 3.) The Misfits 4.) Mushroomhead 5.) Mindless Self Indulgence 6.) The Cure 7.) Linkin Park 8.) Avenged Sevenfold 9.) Stone Sour 10.) Rehab
  11. Yeah, screw a Buffy film, just make a Angel film (which has more life left in it), and find a way to let Willow & Xander, Giles and Andrew make their respected cameos in it. Since they were pretty much the only handful of characters that had any life left in them by the end of Buffy. They would be the only reason I'd want to see another Buffy movie too. What with Buffy seemingly becoming a black hole of personality and character growth in the last few seasons.
  12. The obvious choice... Another Brick in the Wall (more so pt. 1) by Pink Floyd...
  13. There is only one true answer to this and for shame for no one mentioning it before hand. Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
  14. That does look like one sexy DVD, if I had the funds to, I'd buy it but currently am saving up for other DVDs that are higher up on the "To buy" list. Also it'll be interesting to see how seemless the combining of the two shows will be.
  15. Since I don't know how you get the spoiler tag code to work I'll just say this as vague as I can. After seeing this first on another message board the poster of the SM3 poster pointed some thing out. I tried it and though a tad blurry I can see it, if you save the pic onto your comp and use the zoom option you'll see a certain "some thing" in SM's eye. Some thing that is confirming what you guys have been debating and a hint to the next movie's storyline.
  16. I've played the SD side twice, once as Eddie and once as Mankind. With Eddie oddly enough I got the ECW story (then again since Eddie is the guy you face in Urning your spot I suppose they couldn't give me that storyline). This is what I did as Eddie... Accused Cena, beat him, beat RVD, won the three way for Torrie, choose Cena as my partner to take on JBL & OJ, got Torrie, went on the Legends Tour, got to the final three of the RR(then when the RR was restarted I won it) which led to the ECW storyline for me. Though I stupidly choose to side with ECW thinking that would be the way to get to the ONS arena show. >_<
  17. Yeah, they did but of course he got caught/died in this one. So it didn't matter quite as much. I went to see it on it's opening day, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Not sure if I liked it as much as the first one but it was still good. Despite the fact a few characters they killed off in my opinion too soon and there was still potential to flesh them out a bit more. Though I suspected it I never was sure Amanda was Jigsaw's pupil. So the ending came as a bit of a shock to me. I also enjoyed how if he had just been patient and level headed about the situation the cop would've gotten his son back. It is one of the more obvious but still good messages that the films have had. Though one thing puzzled me slightly, we all pretty much know the kid and her end up in the bathroom like room from the first movie. In there we see the rotting corpse of the kid from the first movie (forget his name at the moment). Now we know Jigsaw closed the door on him however Doctor Gordon at the end of the 1st crawls away saying he'll go get help. I highly doubt they wouldn't have been able to unlock the door then had Gordon gotten help. So I'm wondering now if he even managed to survive or just bled to death or the more likely choice Jigsaw revealed himself to Gordon then finished him off. Also it was a nice touch to have when Jigsaw was talking about being put face to face with his own mortality that it was Gordon who delivered the news so easily to him. While as we saw in the first one he was under Gordon's care you don't ever really get the extent of it. Just enough to know he saw Gordon as flawed enough to be one of his victims. His choosing the doctor now makes much more sense to me at least. Since despite Gordon's flaws by the way Jigsaw explains that moment he holds some resentment towards Gordon for being the one to tell him. Oh and her crawling in that pit of needles was just a disturbing image. Over all I liked this movie, like I liked the first one. And I think it's safe to say I'm pumped to see if there is a third one in the works. Which by the ending I'm guessing there is.
  18. Oh so Laura is gone for good? Wasn't sure if that was the case or they were going to have Franko go looking for her some more next season. But yeah if that is the case I'm with you, I won't really miss her. Her character hasn't really done much of note in the two seasons. And again as you said her voice was annoying as sin. Katie, Mike and Sean was a interesting interaction and I am curious what will come of it. Well it's obvious it's making Mike and Sean not quite so "stereotypical meat heads" they have been. They've started to question things and actually open their eyes to the world around them. Though some thing tells me with how Katie seemed to "zone out" and talk about no Heaven or Hell while drawing that drawing of her's some thing is brooding there. Perhaps she ends up in a psy ward not being able to cope with her brother's death? Be another gentle push to send Tommy closer to the edge. I didn't really care for Janet and the kids leaving either, it felt kind of just stuff repeating itself. And they haven't really justified Janet's reason for being too angry with Tommy yet in my opinion. It just didn't seem enough or logical to have that be just the justification for her leaving and hating him. Then again perhaps as shown Janet not being too sane it made pretty damn good sense to her. Lou is another guy that I think may end up the route Tommy is going, down the drain. It almost be interesting if next season Lou is right along with Tommy losing their minds and getting closer and closer to the edge. Or if by watching that guy die Tommy has snapped out of it and is trying even harder to keep things from falling apart completely. And while doing this tries to help Lou keep it together(kind of the reverse of their friendship's roles from the last two seasons). Teddy in jail could produce some classic comedy scenes. More so if they have the dreaded "shower moment". Really I'm just excited to see the next season and can't believe we have to wait until some time next year to see it.
  19. Did any one catch it? Thoughts? Likes? Dislikes? Personally the first time I watched it I was stunned, a lot of shit hit the fan. I'm just wondering what the hell could happen next. I mean Tommy's life every time it seems to be slowly fixing itself goes even further down the shitter. Teddy it's obvious is going to jail and more than likely Tommy's dad. Hell it be short of a miracle if Tommy didn't get sent with them. Really there was other things I was going to discuss but I'm still kind of in shock over the final scene. For some reason I thought Tommy was actually going to mae it to Teddy and his pops in time.
  20. Yeah Polaris was in fact the garage band in the one episode lil' Pete sees and then can't get out of his head. Apparently as I think I vaguely recall a few but the Polaris band members make several cameos in the show besides that. But I think that was pretty much their biggest and most obvious cameo in the series. I take it the creator must have really liked that band or been pals with them. >_>
