Just saw Eternals and yeah....not that great? I always felt with the comics I really wasn't into the cosmic stuff Marvel does, and it seems outside of Guardians it's the same with the films. Felt it was all over the place and while it did a good job fleshing out some totally brand new characters, I don't think I really liked any of them except Phastos. I don't think any of the humour landed at all, and it lacked a lot of the charm/chemistry that makes a lot of MCU special. Not sure if I missed your thoughts when it was released, can I ask why? I really liked it, I thought after Black Widow it gave me more hope for this phase of films but Eternals kinda leveled it out again.

I've been really looking forward to these, GTA3 was the first PS2 game I ever played, but I'm not hearing great things so far. Has anyone here actually played it much? I saw somewhere they're basically mobile phone ports or something, some of the weather effects look crap.

The refereeing was shocking. Auba was terrible today, but Maintained Tiles looked good. Really missed Partey in midfield but I think overall we did OK. Happy to be above United and Spurs.

It was clearly offside but that touch from Auba is criminal for a striker of his calibre.

Finished Deathloop. Not the game I expected from the trailers but all the better for it.

Speaking of penalties, Martinez is a bit good at saving them isn't he?

I loved the original series as I'm sure most did, GTA3 was the first PS2 game I ever played and I would absolutely look forward to this if its not gonna be an absurd price point, and like ollie said, I'm not sure the more questionable stuff will have been removed but yeah. Much rather play these than GTAV again.

The power that links up enemies so you can take out 6 guys with one headshot is my favourite favourite far but I've not done much tbf. Is it worth just spending a whole loop in one area to track down as many leads/residuum as possible or would that suck some of the fun out of it? I'm never quite sure what to do next sometimes.

Pretty sure he means con as in pros and cons not as in a scam.

Yeah it happened to me twice in a row on the same level. She got 2 of my lives before I killed her, but a random eternal finished me off. Restarted same level and immediately another juliana. Turned it off randoms to just friends, fuck that. I like the idea of the mechanic but it took fucking ages to get through the one level cos I had no idea where she hid herself. Really liking the game though. Wasn't sure the first few stages how I felt cos it looked like such a huge place to explore and there's clearly parts I don't know how to access yet, it felt sort of a waste to just go straight to the objective but I've gotten a decent weapon and power now so I dont feel as useless if a gunfight does break out.

Same as apsham, I really enjoyed the feel of each character, they were pretty unique and felt like the proper hero especially when levelled up, but I lost interest such a long time ago. Haven't even seen Hawkeye/Black Panther/whoever else has been released. Has Spider-Man been added yet? I always say I'm going to go back to it one day but the grind was really relentless and the levels weren't ever really interesting to me. The story was fine, but the actual areas felt really empty and well, boring. Even being in a city or forest or whatever, always felt like a danger room simulation somehow. Lego Marvel Superheroes remains the undisputed superhero team up game.

Absolutely outstanding first half. Took the pedal off in the 2nd and they started their dirty tactics kicking lumps out of us but a great win. Tomiyasu looks like a fantastic player.

I'd 100% be up for Dragons this year again if they allowed crossplay, and I think I'll end up picking it up at some point down the road but I don't know if I'll bother if none of the lads are going to be on.

I hate when you finish an open-world game and in order to allow free-play atfer the credits, you're thrown back before the final mission. Id rather just complete everything then do the final mission as the final thing to do if thats the case. I get theres some examples where the protagonist ends up dying or something at the end that would limit the possiblity, and not every game can have a John-Marston-episode but eh. I always enjoy the aspect of seeing how the world has dealt with the end of the story, and even games like GTAV acknowledge that the main story has finished. Just always annoys me for some reason.

Yeah, this. They did such an amazing job with Spider-man I'll happily sign on for Wolverine. I frequently thought during playing Spidey how much fun it would be flying round New York ad Iron Man, using the same sort of upgrade system to create new suits etc but I'll be up for anything tbh.

No, First Light was dlc for Second Son which was just basically infamous 3. I loved the series so a new entry would be fantastic for me. Surprisingly, not that interested in new MGS. Phantom Pain wasn't worth it and I don't think they're going to be all that great if Survive is anything to go by.

I echo pretty much all of this. Fantastic film, really enjoyed the finale, just all round very enjoyable. So is it Spider-Man next?
