I think Scotland can feel rather aggrieved today.

It seems that they have another owner who quickly lost interest when he realised that he couldn't just throw around a bit of money and get straight to the Premier League.

It won't be a proper casket match if you can't pick it up and swing it like a baseball bat.

The Persona Franchise (and Atlus in general I guess)
Bobfoc replied to gunnar hendershow's topic in Coin Op Arcade
You can control your party members in Reload, as well as in 4 and 5. The battle mechanics are all very simple and quickly explained through in-game tutorials, so there really isn't much that you're likely to be confused about. I think it's worth bearing in mind that you're not likely to do everything in a single playthrough. You allocate your activities to sections of the day, meaning that in-game time is finite. -
It's a bit of a dull set of finalists amidst all the previous upsets in the tournament.

This makes me miss Jordan.

There will be a third game.

That "not available on other platforms until at least 29th May 2025" message caught my eye. I'm assuming that will be a PC release.

The International Football Federations Thread

Jordan have reached the Asian Cup final by beating South Korea. -
Bit of a late one for Europeans, but it will still be there in the morning. I'm sure plenty of people would rather avoid it altogether to remain spoiler-free. Speaking of the demo, I'm guessing it will be a slightly expanded version of the Kalm flashback. Square Enix is far from a perfect company, but I do appreciate their recent commitment to putting out free demos before release.

Series 2 of Our Flag Means Death comes to iPlayer on Monday. I enjoyed the first one, so I'm looking forward to this.

I wonder if they could get someone like Clare Balding or Gabby Logan.

You could start with Yakuza 0 and see how you like it. It's the sort of series I drift into every so often, rather than playing them back-to-back.
-
I hope this gets another series so that the little things can be ironed out. It's already something I enjoy, but it wouldn't take much for it to be just as good as the original. My fear is that it will go the way of the Robot Wars reboot.

Now Scotland are collapsing.

Or perhaps Wales are.

The Persona Franchise (and Atlus in general I guess)
Bobfoc replied to gunnar hendershow's topic in Coin Op Arcade
I hadn't played Persona 3 before and decided to wait for Reload. I'm still in the early stages and it's the usual Persona formula so far. I'm hoping the story picks up before long. -
England looking good for the wooden spoon here.

Tremendous start for Ireland.

It looks as though VII Rebirth will get a free demo prior to launch. It would make sense if it were released on Tuesday because that's when the dedicated State of Play showcase will take place.

Are you trying to say that a Joker cosplayer fighting sword-wielding robots with a magic guitar isn't immediately comprehensible?

Oh, brilliant. More slow walking through tar while Hideo Kojima's overwritten characters ramble on. Actually, I really liked Death Stranding. I'm completely aware of how unappealing it is to many people, though. And it has a little talking monkey Guillermo Del Toro toy. I'm on board.

A first-person game in the Silent Hill universe shadow dropped for free? Let's hope that's not as cursed as the last one. I remember saying years ago that Metro would be a great series for a VR game. If only I had several hundreds of pounds spare.

I no longer care about any of the other games here. A Dave the Diver/Godzilla crossover is all I need.

This starts at the times stated in the thumbnail, plus 10pm GMT.
