If there is a way to create a quick reliable automatic digital strikezone and a quick reliable way to get safe/out calls right then umpires should be obsolete. And I, truth be told, have no problem with that. Just seems like a waste of time/space/money to have it both ways.

An argument against balls and strikes being up for challenges is that every umpire has his own strikezone. You kind of take that away if you're just going to go back against his decision by using a digital strikezone or whatever it is they'd use. May as well just use that for every pitch if that's the case. I still believe a home plate umpire should have final say over something or else they're obsolete.

Same. If we start replaying balls and strikes, that could really hold up the game. But when it comes to the blown perfect game, or that play at the plate, why not? Take three minutes to get the call right.

Planning to start a new game with a Blue Square team and seeing how far I can take them until we're just absolutely terrible, or I until get bored. I did this with Braintree back on FM09 and took them to a couple promotions before we started getting destroyed every match.

Nah, I hate people that quit like that. You were up 4-1 before it officially croaked, so it's safe to say you were going to win that anyway. And I won't be getting my buddy's controller until this weekend at the earliest. We'll just play a friendly or something sometime. It was funky. It was doing the same thing it did against david. If I hit up, it went down, if I hit left, it went right, and then a little after halftime the stick just stopped working altogether. After our game I tried playing in the arena to see if maybe it was just wicked lag, but it didn't work there either. Friggin' thing isn't even a year old.

A friend of mine is going to give me his. ^_^

What are the cheapest 360 controllers running nowadays? They still like $50 a pop?
