  1. Well, Cory Ledesma's apparently been sacked. Don't know if that's a sign of things to come, but it's certainly a major development.
  2. Even when he's not trying to take a 'creepy' picture, he takes a creepy picture. That's fucking amazing.
  3. I've literally been sitting here for a minute or two, trying to come up with something, anything, to say. And I just can't.
  4. With any luck, they'll throw the Yukes baby out with the THQ bathwater and have 2K take over completely ASAP.
  5. Among other big-name titles that Take-Two has published: Grand Theft Auto, Borderlands, Civilization, Bioshock, they own 2K Sports... but what I'm wondering right now, is whether Take Two only purchased the license or if we're gonna still have the WWE Games team and Yukes developing the series. Honestly, I'm hoping that 2K takes over production entirely at this point. I'd rather take a chance on a completely new experience, no matter how stripped-down it might be compared to '13.
  6. Hey, I never said I didn't like it, I just said I had a traumatic experience with that first match. For all its faults, Blitzball's probably second only to Chocobo Hot 'n' Cold as my favorite Final Fantasy mini-game.
  7. Oh God, I just got a terrible Blitzball flashback. And I won the match (that initial Goers/Abes game) I flashed back to! I tried to play it honestly, and somehow managed to get a tie at 2-2 before the game's end came. It went into overtime, and I think JUST before that expired, I was able to get Tidus to pull off a Jecht Shot to win the game. But getting there... Jesus. If I could, I'd kill Graav. The guy always becomes super-powered in my games.
  8. There's nothing quite as surreal as playing a Cesaro/Show match and hitting Show with the Very European Uppercut/Swiss Death. Also, the moves pack left me fairly disappointed... and also wondering why like, half of Brock's signature moves were cut for DLC.
  9. The Grass-type is named Chespin, the Fire-type is named Fennekin, and the Water-type is named Froakie. I swear to God, if Fennekin's just another Fire/Fighting starter... >_>
  10. To be fair, those aren't alternate attires, those are simply his default outfit colored with Superstar Threads.
  11. So I got Black 2 four days ago, and to date, I've got seven of the eight badges. It's weird, but I've never felt less faith in my starter. Maybe I shouldn't catch a Riolu like, five minutes into the next time I play through. Emboar, Lv. 46 Krookodile, Lv. 41 Zoroark, Lv. 45 Swanna, Lv. 42 Lucario, Lv. 48 Muk, Lv. 41
  12. THQ left out a vital piece of information regarding those 'interactive' cutscenes: they only made them for Attitude Era guys. You need to integrate them into your WWE Universe to see any of the actual new content.
  13. I'd be up for it. Today's my last set of finals, so I'll basically be free until next month.
  14. True, but I wouldn't necessarily consider that to be anything less than a few points' drop.
  15. Well, you also have to take into account that this is going to be 2004/2005. Flair only really started to implode after he left WWE in '08.
  16. Wait, Hardcore Holly had a title match at a PPV? Yeah. He was getting revenge on Lesnar for breaking his neck back in 2002. It was actually a really good feud, in retrospect. The title match was kinda iffy, though; Holly lost in six minutes. Oh, and I'm good with either January '04 or April '05.
  17. So Amazon had this on sale, so I finally bit the bullet and bought it. I also found the Digital Deluxe PC version of ME3 for $12, but that's a story for another thread. It's good. I had a small glitch in Episode 3 where Duck turned invisible, but aside from that, it runs well, and it's a good story. I don't know if I could ever play this game and make Lee an asshole, just because I don't want to ever disappoint Clementine. >_>
  18. And for the Community fans among us, Punk will be sharing the panel on Talking Dead with Yvette Nicole Brown.
  19. I'm guessing it might be something with Story Designer... or alternatively, the guys at Yuke's and THQ who make the WWE games are a bunch of lazy bastards.
  20. Anyone else see this yet? I finally got around to seeing it earlier today, and it's actually a really nice movie.
  21. Okay, so holy fucking shit. I literally just beat Morty. His Gengar was a goddamn sweeper with its ridiculously OP Shadow Ball attack. It took me three attempts to beat him. What ended up happening was I had to let Geodus, CHIK, and Nattie act as meat shields. Mareeyse paralyzed the Gengar and Cotton Spored it before being taken down with a Shadow Ball; Nat barely survived a Shadow Ball and managed to Disable it before being taken down with a Sucker Punch. Then it came down to Nidoback vs. the weakened Gengar and a Haunter. I taught Nidoback Shadow Claw after remembering that Ghost is weak against itself, so despite a Hyper Potion midway through the fight, Gengar couldn't overcome the paralyzation, massively-decreased speed, and Nidoback holding the Quick Claw. It took a helluva lot of effort, but the Gengar fell. Nidoback took the Haunter down easily enough, but the margin of victory was practically razor-thin; it managed to get a Night Shade off that brought Nidoback down to one fucking hit point. One hit point kept me from having to re-do that entire battle. FEED. IT. MORE. (Oh yeah; I caught a Meowth and named it DiBmeowse. It made sense in my head.)
  22. Nice little thing from Bear McCreary about composing the music for last night's final scenes. Don't watch if you haven't watched the episode yet.
  23. Genadi made the "Montreal Aftermath" mod. It's set in December '97, but you might be able to retrofit it for whatever you need.
