  1. Yes, but it was no Tic Tac Dough.
  2. The Buffet Raiders are trash, period. Chip must be either getting paid more to be an OC than he was getting as a HC or has been promised the job once Michigan's Bitch decides to fire Third Base.
  3. He has done a few movies, including Highlander Endgame, a movie with Jamie Kennedy, and another with Kelsey Grammer. And he was a regular on the show Haven and in over 20 episodes of Vikings. It was interesting to see who they cast as the gods. Obviously, they'll have to recast Zeus going forward.
  4. If politics come into it, there's a lot of artists I'd never listen to, and not just in country. Hank Williams Jr got fired from doing the Monday Night Football for comparing Obama to Nazis, and Jason Aldean is a world class asshat. I refuse to buy anything new from either, and avoid obviously right-wing slanted songs. Maren Morris decided to leave country music, and its partially due to all the bullshit. But I also think its due to her pop songs being more successful.
  5. AAAAAND A PARTRIDGE IN A PAIR TREE!!
  6. Red Solo Cup, Whiskey For My Men (Beer For My Horses) w/ Willie Nelson, I Wanna Talk About Me, Should've Been A Cowboy, How Do You Like Me Now..... R.I.P.

Apparently there's a Talking Heads tribute album out or coming out: This is good, but I'm kind of worried about who is going to do Once In A Lifetime and Psycho KIller.....
  8. I was looking at various clothing on Amazon, and actually found a Tennessee kilt. I'm sure there are probably some for other college sports teams, but didn't come across any. (And no, I'm not getting that kilt. If I was going to get one, it would be a utility kilt in Ancient Black Watch or something blue. Unfortunately, the tartans for the two different Scottish clans I've got ancestry from are rather ugly.)
  9. Austin is really going to hate that one of the people that Dallas might be interviewing to replace Quinn is Ron Rivera 1.0. I certainly hate it. @Maxx what say you?
  10. I just hope they don't do another American version. There's been talk about it several times, and I do not like the idea. The 2008 version was awful. On the other hand, I'd love it if they brought back Battle Dome. But that's not going to happen. (Besides, I doubt they'd be able to get Terry Crews to host it as T-Money.....)
  11. Another cancelled show that ended on a cliffhanger: Paramount+'s Wolf Pack.
  12. @Benji @K Good news: Rookie Feds has been cancelled. Bad news: It ended on a cliffhanger they might resolve on The Rookie. Hopefully with a throwaway line.
  13. If you have Peacock and are not watching The Traitors, you are missing some damn good tv. And, if you are watching:
  14. My issue is more that they won't admit they cheated than the actual cheating. A-Rod admitted he did, but there are some who think he either lied about when he did or how long. And some are on the bubble about McGwire, who was one of my favorite players (so was Clemens), belonging in. If he was a DH, yes, but he was a 1st Baseman. He has..or had..a lot of hitting records, but he has only about 30 more career hits than strikeouts and wasn't exactly known for his defense. (Not me. I think he'd belong if not for the denial of cheating.)
  15. The finale of The Trust: A Game Of Greed. Also, Heidi and I have been watching Anthony Anderson (and Mama Doris!) on his new show, We Are Family. I was 3 for 3 on the latest episode (but didn't get the first one until the clues from singing with their relative), and 2 for 3 on the previous two. I'm beating Heidi, so far, but....
  16. I recommend this one: Lehto's Law. He's an attorney who specializes in Consumer Protection and Lemon Laws, but covers cases around the country (and Canada, apparently, according to an episode I watched recently) that are sometimes weird lawsuits, sometimes weird arrests, and occasionally `WTF? How did they think they could get away with this?' cases.
  17. Whenever Hall of Fame nomination (or inductees) discussion starts, I always see people whining that Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and Pete Rose belong in. No, they do not. Bonds and Clemens are not only cheaters, but have continued to deny it. If they ever add a Cheaters wing to the Hall, they and others (A-Rod, McGwire) go in there. But not until they confess. I think Pete Rose should go in. 5 years after he passes away. (Then again, I also believe Shoeless Joe should go in, and Charles Comiskey should be kicked out....)
  18. Lift. Basically, think Mission: Impossible, except they're actually crooks, an Interpol agent is working with them....and the team leader is Kevin Hart. Its an action/heist film with some comedy, but not anything bust out laughing level. I'm already hoping for a sequel.
  19. The problem is that at one point they swerved from boy scout to asshole. I actually dislike the whole Jean-Scott-Logan love triangle. Jean and Logan makes no sense.
  20. And just what did the sun do to you?!
  21. Haven't read SI - even the swimsuit issues - in well over a decade. And them proclaiming Deion Sanders "Sportsman of the Year" makes me think I haven't missed much. But this is a shocker.
  22. Also, all caught up on The Trust. Just waiting for the finale.
