You're right, but I definitely think the Red Sox may have gotten the better end of the trade. When I went to Fenway back in September, there were plenty of Sale jerseys and t-shirts at the team store, while most of the other players were either sold out or close to.

I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with Eccleston never playing the Doctor again under that circumstance. Nine is my least favorite of the NuWho era Doctors, and Eccleston comes off a bit full of himself by saying that. (Nine is my least favorite due to how the character was written, not his performance.) On the other hand, there are rumors of a possible Eighth Doctor spin-off, and I hope its true!
