  1. Yeah, he's been dire so far. Man City looked scarily good against Newcastle but there performance against Cardiff where they couldn't seem to string a set of good passes together seems to be continuing here today and are lucky to not be one nil down.
  2. Week 3 Fixtures Cardiff 0-1 Everton West Ham 2-1 Stoke Crystal Palace 1-0 Sunderland West Brom 2-0 Swansea Liverpool 2-1 Man United Arsenal 3-2 Tottenham
  3. Week 2 Fixtures Hull 1-1 Norwich Newcastle 0-2 West Ham Aston Villa 1-3 Liverpool Cardiff 0-3 Man City Tottenham 2-1 Swansea Man United 0-2 Chelsea
  4. Week 1 Fixtures Sunderland 1-1 Fulham West Ham 2-0 Cardiff Swansea 1-2 Man United Crystal Palace 1-3 Tottenham Chelsea 3-0 Hull Man City 3-1 Newcastle
  5. It might not have been that blatant; you don't always know you've nicked the ball. I've had moments when I've put a pretty heavy touch on the ball but at the time have had no idea I've touched it. Broad does have a pretty good poker face but he had no reaction at all. There could be a case that he didn't know he'd touched it, especially with his bat open faced and it just nicking the outside of the bat.
  6. Because it's just not cricket I know it's the honourable thing to do but I've played cricket for the past fifteen years and it's something that has crept into the game. When I play (which is not often anymore) we're told not to walk. Plus with the pressure of the Ashes would you walk?
  7. I don't get why Broad should have walked? The umpire is there to do a job, it's not Broad's fault. I don't think many of the Australians would have walked, in fact Michael Clarke did the exact same thing during the Ashes in 2010. Plus if they didn't waste their referral on that one that clearly wasn't out they'd have got the decision.
  8. I think the only other club that were really in for him was Swansea but they hadn't agreed terms. Maybe he wants another crack at promotion with Blackpool and his dad?
  9. I hope Morgan returns and Hershel lives. Only so we get some scenes with Scott Wilson and Lennie James together.
  10. It was good to see Wanderlei be a bit more aggressive. He doesn't quite have the jaw for it anymore, but he took some solid shots tonight from Stann and managed to stay in the game. Plus it was awesome seeing Hunt win, always been a fan of him. The last shot on Struve broke his jaw and embedded one of his teeth in his cheek.
  11. Yeah I was really impressed by Ogle's submission defense in his win over Grispi.
  12. Liverpool bringing on Enrique to try and stop Walcott; I thought Liverpool we're coasting after going two up as it seemed another frustrating night of Arsenal not being able to finish but they turned it around in 2 1/2 minutes.
  13. For saying Bradford is on fire, which whilst not bad, is sort of insensitive due to the stadium fire of '85.
  14. I think Premier Inn have free cancellation, or at least don't make you pay full whack if we do go out - so I may as well. Hoping they give first refusal to season ticket holders for the final as I'm sure tickets will go quick. They did do for the Arsenal and Villa games so I'm sure they will.
  15. Wow, the atmosphere was electric tonight. Just wish the extra 12,000 that turned up for this and the Arsenal game would come down to Valley Parade on a regular basis. Got to to say though, that was one of the worst defenses I've seen turn up at City this year. It's good to think that we've managed to beat Arsenal and Aston Villa with our second string centre back pairing. I just wished they and Matt Duke would play like they do in the cup, in the league. Although our league form has dipped due to the sheer amount of games we've played this season with a small squad and a defence tonight that are all not really first choice. I'm tempted to book my hotel tickets for Wembley - but part of me feels like doing that would somehow jinx us for the next leg,
  16. Is that the 2011 Mark Waid volume? If so it's a great read - plus the cover for Issue 4 is great. I'm reading Daredevil: End of Days at the moment which I'd suggest picking up if you haven't already - it's an eight part mini series about the death of Daredevil and four issues in, it's been a hell of a book so far.
  17. Only show I've seen out of those is South Park - but even that I haven't watched any new episodes in a couple of years.
  18. Yeah, I had it 29-28 for Garcia. Whilst Holloway was cleaner, he was out struck in that fight and taken down twice.
  19. Shane Carwin is the only fighter JDS has fought apart from Cain with a collegiate background, but Carwin was a Division II champion whilst Velasquez was a Division I champion. Carwin managed one takedown from the clinch in the entire three round fight and JDS got straight back up.
