Surely something happened with Richards in the England squad because this doesn't make sense at all. With Capello, people just thought he simply didn't rate him highly, but now with a new manager he gets overlooked as well? It's not like Kelly has consistently played this season either.

There are going to be some good teams in the last and third pot, like Juventus and PSG who both have sucked internationally last few years for various reasons.

Lyon's dominance was unusual for French football. The most French league wins comes from Saint Etienne believe it or not at with 10; it's really a fun competition with a lot of different champions over the years. Lyon's dominance really came from the right manager and signings, and once they started performing in the CL every year they were financially so much further than the rest that nobody could keep up until they slipped. Also, I think Everton or Aston Villa winning the Premier League would be a better analogy for Montepellier winning

Vertonghen would be a fantastic signing for Spurs.

Kim was fantastic, although I don't think she would have won if 1) Colton didn't leave the game, 2) the men didn't give up immunity and 3) if the tribe switch didn't happen. Ofcourse every winner has had luck throughout the game though. How stupid is Christina? She's one of the worst players ever to get that far, just completely delusional. When she talked to Jeff at TC her case was Sabrina should maybe go because she sucked in challenges? What the hell? She didn't even understand she was the perfect woman to take cause she would get no votes. Delusional. And yeah, the rumors were true then, Skupin/Swan/Penner definitely. All three players you'd not bring back for an All Stars type deal.

I'm disappointed in Sabrina, because she seemed to play hard at the start and had a clear vision for the future. Ever since the merge she has just stopped playing, letting Kim do all the work. You can try and be the one that isn't hated for doing all the dirty work, but thing is Kim has played so well nobody actually hates her for being the boss. Sabrina is going to be sitting at the final TC with nothing to say. Chelsea will come off as a puppet of Kim and Alicia as someone who thinks she made moves but actually ended up doing nothing, plus she's been a bitch. Christina....well, she's fucked no matter what but she should be in the final 3 because of that. The only way the final can be interesting is if Kim gets eliminated, which is highly unlikely and they haven't teased it either. As for the whole season, there have been some good to great episodes, but the all girls domination has hurt the game, and the naivety of some players like Jay, Kat, Alicia, Troyzan. This season did provide us with some good characters though and it feels like they held back a bit on some so they can expand in the future (they have started doing this a while ago now). Returns of Troyzan, Kat, Colton and maybe even Kim (purely for being a very good strategic player) wouldn't surprise me down the line.

Tarzan understands the game, he made a lot of sense at times during this episode but Alicia failed >_< Was so weird seeing her be all convinced of taking out Chelsea and going to the end with Tarzan and Christina to just telling everything to Kim the moment she came back. She says she's running the game, but she's hilariously being played by Kim, like everyone else.

This is why I love Survivor so much. Tarzan and Christina were going to be out for a while, but now all of a sudden it's so close to the end it makes more sense to just bring them to the end 'cause they'll get no votes. The other girls really need to wake up because Kim is dominating this season and it's so clear to see; wins lots of challenges, and is clearly the leader of the group from a strategic standpoint. Alicia, Sabrina and Chelsea would be stupid not to try and get her out, if she makes it it's over, she wins hands down. This episode also made me like Tarzan more, I had to fight the tears when his wife came out. He was less crazy, and more caring. They teased him changing the game a bit next week but I doubt it. He'll be pulling a Philip and annoy the shit out of everyone to keep him.

Shame Troy is gone, at least he understands the game. Christina is such a dumb ass.

Started a game with Santos. Never had a lengthy game in South America, only played with Cobresol a few times last year . As expected I have a really good attack, shit to mediocre defense and a massive reserve squad with loads of useless players. Played Barcelona right off the bat in the World Cup final and got steamrolled 4-0, cause all my players were unfit due to the difference in competition times. The Brazilian league is fucked up anyway, takes a year to complete!

Every Survivor auction baffles me actually. There's always one person that only bids once, or not at all thinking there's something better coming and there are infinite options up for sale. If you're a Survivor fan you can sense the auction is getting to a close, especially when he auctions off an advantage in the next immunity challenge. If you haven't had food why not bid 250 right off the block or something? Now Kim and Kat both got two items, how did that happen? Maybe we are underestimating the impact of being able to keep the money afterwards. Troy probably hoped they'd not outbid him so he could keep a sum of his money, maybe same reason Christina didn't go on bidding.

Troy definitely needs to keep winning to make things interesting 'cause there's already a set way of who goes home next for the 4 dominant girls which makes things boring obviously. No idea what Leif, Tarzan, Christina and Alicia were thinking and it's not the first time we've seen this in Survivor where a group who definitely will not make it to the end decides to vote with the dominant alliance anyway to be safe. It's ridiculous, you know might as well go for it now then be content with 6th place or something. I'm sure Alicia still thinks she'll manage to weasel her way to the top 3 but you can't take that risk. Also, Leif should have been the done politicking after the challenge :s

I recently got into betting as well but I rarely put more than 3 euro on one match (too scared to lose money ). I live partially in the UK now and I'm surprised how many people bet and how much, even poor students put a fiver on one footy match, ridiculous. Anyway, I started with 30 euro on my betting account, went down to 15, now up to 40 Man Utd screwed me over against Wigan, I had predicted a draw...

Can't say it gets me excited, it looks like a Gameboy Color game. I just don't want to play those kind of games anymore, but I'm sure it's very well executed and the story is good.

Pre-merge was edited in such a way it made me think boys were going to dominate the game further. I guess I was wrong, or Troy somehow does end up making it to the end.

The guys clearly lacked communication. I'm sure if Troy and Jay had gotten their heads out of the girls asses early in the merge and like Kim with the girls, formed a back-up plan with the guys they could have. Mike was easily manipulated and Leif and Tarzan know they don't have an alliance so why wouldn't they side with you? I'm honestly surprised Troy said 'go to Christina and Tarzan and tell them to vote Alicia'. Why not Leif? Makes no sense. The fact that Christina told Leif to step down so he's not a threat and won't get voted out says enough; he ain't makin' it to the end with the girls. Ugh, some of these guys have no clue, they are just riding the waves hoping somehow to get to the end by pure luck. The girls are in a situation now that 5 of them think they will make it to the end; Kat, Kim, Christina, Alicia, Sabrina. It's Redemption Island all over again. If I was Christina I'd be scrambling already. And it's going to be glorious when all the girls are left and just Tarzan :lmao: Bring the guy to the end with you, he's worse than Philip. I'd love a season when basically everyone after the merge is playing hard. There are always a few people just trying to fly under the radar, or just have no clue. HvV was great 'cause people were playing hard (except for Colby ), and same goes for Micronesia (except for Erik ).

Gone back to my Wigan game and am now in my third season, finished 5th first season and 6th last season. I underestimated the task of bringing Wigan to the top, the gap between me and the top is so big it'll take at least 6 years or so. Oh well, challenge accepted This is why I always let the assistant do the talking.
