  1. NIN, The White Stripes, RATM, and The Beastie Boys - All bands I only know a few songs of that I think are average at best. The Beastie Boys probably scrape slightly above due to their videos. Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun is the only song I know and damn is it creepy. The Lucksmiths - Never heard of. Jack White - See The White Stripes. Childish Gambino - I recognise the face, and I know someone who likes him but I have absolutely no idea who this is. Paramore - A lot of their songs sound very similar, and not in a good way. I do however have two albums. Bruce Springsteen - I really like the few songs I actually know. Ben Folds Five - I heard the song which was used in that film where Bruce Willis plays a raccoon, which was pretty good. Blur - Song 2 and Park Life are the only songs I know. They're quite good though. Devin Townsend - This name means nothing to me. Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip - This name means even less. David Bowie - A wonderful character but I only know a handful of songs and it really depends what mood I'm in if I actually like them.
  2. Radiohead - Perhaps my least favourite band of all time. Brand New - Never heard of them. Arctic Monkeys - One of the first bands people ask if I like when I say what music genres I listen to. However, I know very little about them. Alexisonfire - I only know who this band is because of the debate my friends once had over how to say their name. Panic! At The Disco - I liked them when I was 14. When my friend who has an extremely questionable (shit) taste in music mentioned he likes them on facebook, I let it slide. But it embarassed me slightly when three other friends agreed with him. Delain - The two votes were me and Arcadia, and she only knows them because I took her to see them live. I'm so glad I've singlehandedly got them higher than Radiohead. Regina Spektor - I recognise the name, but that's about it. Leonard Cohen - The name seems familiar. I think one of my teachers really liked him. Reel Big Fish - I'm listening to them right now. I also travelled 175 miles to seem them live. Against Me! - Never heard of them. Reuben - See above. Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds - See above. Coldplay - Meh. Arcade Fire - Can't say I've ever listened to them Enter Shikari - Seeing them live for the second time in December. Red Hot Chili Peppers - I'm not as keen on them as a lot of other people seem to be. Das Racist - Never heard of them. Fleetwood Mac - Isn't the singer in an Arnie film? Because that's the only time I've had any interaction with them. Neil Young - I know he's a big name but I don't know him that well. Smashing Pumpkins - The first time I heard them was when TNA used a song for one of their PPVs. Black Sabbath - Heavy Metal at it's finest. Rise Against - One of my favourite bands. The Pogues - Fairytale of New York is all I know. Pink - Her early stuff was quite good. I'll pass on anything post-2003 though. Papa Roach - They used to be my favourite band but they've slowly been slipping down the list. I might've voted for them but I really can't remember. Pink Floyd - Can't say I've ever listened to them with any intention. The Killers - Similarly to Radiohead and RHCP, I can't understand why they're so popular. Talking Heads - I have a few of their songs on my ipod because of a compilation cd. They're ok. Blink 182 - They have a few good songs but the rest is just there. Miles Davis - Never heard of him. They Might be Giants - I know the name but can't think of anything they've done. Wait, did they do the intro song for Malcolm in the Middle? Pearl Jam - I know they're supposed to be one of the biggest bands in their genre but I really don't know many of their songs. Anthrax - See above. Blind Guardian - I only know who they are because one of their songs was used on the Robot Unicorn Attack Heavy Metal game. Laura Marling - Never heard of her.
  3. Gazz told me to tell you that you are the spawn of siblings.

  4. If that's all it takes. Edit - Done. All glory to the Hypnotoad Toon Army!
  5. Newcastle, Juventus, Notts County, and Collingwood it is.
  6. Depends, are you a realistic '2009/10 Championship Champions' fan or a unrealistic '2014 UEFA Champions League Winners' fan? I'm a "they don't waste as much money as any of the bigger clubs" and a "I ruined my 92/93 Juventus shirt and want a new one that looks similar" fan. EDIT - Also, I like magpies.
  7. Alkaline Trio - I've heard of them, I think. Frank Sinatra - One of my favourite singers, but I chose to focus on bands rather than individuals. Type O Negative - I don't know my blood type, or this band. Rush - Similarly to the Kinks, I probably know them without knowing its them. The Who - I love some of their songs but there are also some I really don't like. Andrew Jackson Jihad - Is he any relation to James K Polk Crusade? Electric Wizard - An acquaintance of mine adores them, but I've never actually heard any of their songs.
  8. I've decided to become a Newcastle fan, for sentimental reasons. Are they doing well?
  9. I recognise All Day and All of the Night, and You Really Got Me.
  10. Owl City - Garbage. Eminem - A couple of decent songs. SOAD - Ditto. The Kinks - I probably know a few of their songs, but can't think of anything associated with them right now. ADTR - Likely this high due to my vote. EDIT - Yay for Rich liking ADTR.
  11. Michael Jackson - He's not bad, but I only think he has a few good songs. The only reason I think some people rate him so highly is because he maintained a huge public profile, although not necessarily a positive one, for several decades. Scott Walker - Never heard of him. Fiona Apple - Ditto. Alestorm - I'm partly responsible for them charting on here, but they must be someone's third favourite, since they were my #14. Bob Dylan - Good lyricist, terrible singer. Horribly overrated by many people. Hop Along - Never heard of them. Carly Rae Jepsen - Contemporary artists often get a slight bias in their favour so this placing isn't as bad as some people are making it out to be. The Specials - They're ok. Not something I'd consistently listen to though. Four Year Strong - Considering I placed them at #3, most of their points come from me. The Beach Boys - A few good songs, but I don't know much about them. Evanescence - I'm indirectly responsible for them placing on the chart, as a whopping great 28 of their thirty points come from Arcadia (assuming I understand the points system correctly). Lady Gaga - Shit. The Jimi Hendrix Experience - A friend of mine has even more contempt for Jimi Hendrix than I do for Bob Dylan. However, I am a fan of his guitar work. Sevendust - Never heard of them. Are they obsessed with Dustin Rhodes? Maroon 5 - I like their early stuff. All of their new stuff sounds terrible. Iced Earth - Never heard of them. FUN. - I've never heard of them and they look like that vimto advert. Jonathon Coulton - Never heard of him.

    Doctor Who

Definitely prior to the First World War.

Bowling For Soup 14. Alestorm 15. New Found Glory Honourable mentions to Flyleaf, Less Than Jake, Papa Roach and VersaEmerge.
  14. My first night at university and I spent it making the opening post of my Thunderdome diary. Did I do good, EWB?

  15. Well either the July 94 or September 95 mods on the GDS forum would make for a good starting point. They aren't anywhere near as good as Genadi's ones, but at least the bulk it is already done. They just need to be improved on and adjusted to the right timeframe.
  16. Is there a Family Guy sketch where a mosquito sitting in a chair says "soon, soon"?

      EWB's Best Poster.

I wouldn't say that meme really started with Family guy.

  17. My suggestion is that male workers, with a few exceptions, should have an upper limit somewhere between 50 and 80, since most male wrestlers' attractiveness isn't their key selling point.
  18. Donators not counting I was aware of. However mafia posts also not counting is news to me. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

  19. Paige's 20th birthday was a few weeks ago. The data currently has her at 21yrs old, with her bithday in January. I just had look at all of the workers with a Sex Appeal of 90+. Of the twelve, just two were female. Are Hogan, Sting and The Undertaker really the most attractive in the industry in 2012?

    Doctor Who

Although I did quite like the first episode, there were SO many flaws in the story that I noticed as it was going along. Some of them have already been pointed out, but the main ones for me were
