Well, as a Cork man, I naturally idolise the ground Mr Gallagher would walk on, were he not dead. And I am pretty sure most of Ireland know of him as probably the best raw Irish talent to ever be exported from our shores (naturally I dont count Christy and Van the Man, since mostly, they stay within Irelands borders) and had a pretty successful career an central Europe. But I was wondering, since his death, and since then his more mainstream coverage, has anyone heard of and?or liked any of his work. Obviously, as a fellow Cork man, I love everything he touched. But also, his adherence to his hardcore blue background, dispite the success granted to other artists who took and adopted such as style, like Zeppelin or Clapton, Beck etc, he stayed to his pure roots, is something I greatly admire. Anybody else, anywhere, know of Rory Gallagher? Because a talent such as his should never go unnoticed, even after death. For those who have never heard of him, check out Bad Penny, Shadow Play, Tattoo'd Lady, Bullfroh Blues. All classics.

He might, technically, win stuff at Chelsea, but the real questions are, will he get enough EPL games to get a medal? Will he feature in the FA Cup? Will he be a CL mainstay? I mean, Ballack is a class player, but you cant drop your main players for a new guy instantly, and as much as I hate to admit it, Lampard is all kinds of brilliant, the way that Scholes was when he was one of the worlds' best. And why swap that for an ageing star? In my opinion, Chelsea is a stupid move by Ballack, and reeks of nothing more then greed, not ambition. Should Chelsea win the CL next year, I have no doubt it will be because of any other midfielder than Ballack, and this will ruin any chance he has of playing into his mid 30's for his country at least, as he will never get a game at Chelsea thanks to a younger and more talented, and most importantly, domestic, talents in Lampard. Still, I am glad a mercenary like that has not come to Man Utd, and from what I heard, he would not be a positive dressing room influence. As a Cork man I idolised Roy Keane, but even I knew when he was getting too big for his boots in the dressing room, and Ballack would not be any different.

Does anyone else find that after a while, the game gets boring. Personally, I like it when im actually battling it out against someone. In my most recent game, I started out at Cork City, in League of Ireland, and worked my way up from there. I went from Cork to FC Den Bosch to Inter, and the fact that I started so small motivated me through a long while. Right now, the only thing motivating this game is the fact that the Champions League still evades me. I have won the Serie A ever year since i joined, the Copa Italia every year, and various other competitions. But the only thing driving me on is the Champions League, and after I win that, I am pretty sure I will get bored. Theres only so many times you can defend a title, no matter how big it is. Anyone else have these problems, and does anyone have any ideas to make the game last. Im thinking of restarting as Cork City and bringing them to the CL. Will take less time then in real life, but still take ages. Anyone got any past experiences?

Class stuff, especially considering Noel had just downed about a bottle of Vodka and had decided to re-tune his guitar wrongly for the song Brilliant stuff. You could include Dazed and Confused by Led Zeppelin, as thats technically a cover of an earlier Page concoction callled I'm Confused.

So, I have been a big fan of MSI, since Frankenstein Girls during my time in France, just seemed to be the way the music was going in those days, and just recently bought this album, I have to say. I am really impressed. This is one of my more impressive new buys, and I just cant stop listening to it. Anyone else got it, and/or got an opinion on the album or MSI in genral?

I clicked on the Ultraviolet trailer so hoping it was a film version of the British (I think) tv series of the same name. Imagine my disappointment. Man, I so preferred that film when the Japanese did it, and called it Casshern, about 2 years ago. The Notorious Bettie Page and Thank You for Smoking do look good though. Can't wait to see them.

I am really looking forward to this album. Ten is one of my favourite albums ever, and I have been hooked on Pearl Jam ever since.

I must admit, I was kinda disappointed with Crimes. Other then the song Crimes, and Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wreck, there was nothing that really stood out. Burn Piano Island, Burn > Crimes indeed. Anyone else find Crimes a bit disappointing?

Anything that Richard Cheese touches is also golden. Especially Just Like That Heaven, Only Happy When It Rains and Rape Me.

The only game I can remember getting really worked up about and counted down the hours till I got it was Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Man that game was so classic. Spent ages playing and replaying and replaying that game.

Giggs is injured too, during the blackburn game. The midfield area is looking horribly thin these days, even moreso then usual. Still, Fergie said he will have to bring in a new midfielder before January ends, I just wonder who it will be.

If youre getting pink floyd, you have to go for whole albums. its near impossible to just listen to one single song, cus the albums flow as a single piece, with the songs blending into eachother. thats why i dont like the best of, it just sounds disjointed. Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall and Wish You Were Here are their best. And, though commercially viable, anything post Waters era just doesnt seem as good. as for led zep. well, How The West Was Won is a fantastic live album, and shows each member at their best, as well as illustrate the rapport Page and Bonham had. BBC Sessions is also a fantastic live album. As far as studio albums go, I can only identify one bad, and thats In Through The Out Door, where they faded out, rather then showing what they were truly capable of for their last hurrah. So basically, Led Zep I-IV, Presence, Physical Graffiti and youll be laughing.

Morning Glory and Definitely Maybe are their 2 best albums. Personally, I find Slide Away to be their most outstanding song. Thats on Definitely Maybe. Its top class. But really, anything from those 2 albums is quality. Kinda a shame listening to them, and then hearing their stuff after that, which comparatively, was shite. Even their newest one, solid as it is, doesnt even come close.

Right, my ipod doesnt seem to want to work, so I thought Id see if anyone here knew what to do. When it starts up, after flashing the apple symbol, it shows a pic of a folder with a ! in front of it. I checked apple.com but all it said was to recharge it. My ipod has been charging for over a daym and still nothing. Has this happened to anyone? or does anyone know how t fix it?

Has anybody here heard any of his stuff? He is a relatively new guy, an Irish lad. Hes from Cork, so hes local for me. I saw him play a few times, and decided to buy his album the other day. For someone who did the whole thing by himself, and recorded and mixed it on a laptop in his room, its not bad at all. Q even gave it 4 stars. Just wondering if anyone has heard of him, or is he still fairly localised here.
