Looks incredible. I don't expect another Spider-Man movie with this cast, so it looks like they really pulled out all the stops -- alien costume, Sandman, possible Hobgoblin, and Gwen Stacy. Fuck yeah.

Final Fantasy VI. No Final Fantasy, before or after, came close to matching the storyline, characters, emotion, scope, artistic design, or musical score. It's unquestionably the pinnacle of the series, and in my mind, of RPGs in general.

This reminds me that I still totally need to buy all the Heisei Godzilla films on DVD. GM, any ideas where I could find a comprehensive list of those films, and recommendations of which version of DVD to buy?

I love the movie, but I don't really see how you could make a game out of it. It's too linear to have much room to play around. Unless they make a minigame out of cutting off a cop's ear, or something.

No spoilers, but let me just say that you Brits are in for a treat. This season is fucking insane.

Snag an iPod Nano. The flash memory insures that you'll have a minimum of problems with it breaking, and the iTunes software is second to none. Don't listen to people pimping Creative Zen and iRivers and Gigabeats and all that other crap; unless you have an excellent reason to not use them, iPods are still the MP3 player to beat in North America.

Yeah, but that computer should be able to play all of the new games coming out in the future for at least a full year. But still, that's pretty nuts mostly for Half-Life 2. Was it worth it?

I dropped $1500 on a new computer last year, primarily for Half-life 2.
