  1. Explicitly, The very last episode, sorta kinda. Otherwise they just allude to it throughout other episodes with that person just being able to recognise plot points that they shouldn't know. I think it comes up in the movie as well.
  2. I had a few problems with the demo. Sometimes, conversations wouldn't start up and then they suddenly would after I left the area and it speed through it without me getting any input and put me back where I was. But it's very fun. Lots of Dragon Age and Fable influences (two franchises that I love) which hooked me in once I get outta the intro area. Looking forward to it though, I might end up having to pick it up. It'll get instantly debunked when ME3 comes out, but that's just the nature of the beast.
  3. I wouldn't mind doing two a week for Firefly, but for others that might be too much. I really think an hour a week from somebody is about the best you can ask for because of schedules, life, etc.
  4. Personally, I really love Wash, Kaylee, Mal, and Jayne. I could take or leave Simon but he does get more interesting as the show goes on. Mal's really interesting because when he's around Inara or Inara is in the room with him or Inara is just on the ship, he softens and makes jokes and all that other stuff. When she isn't around, Mal goes back to being angry man.
  5. I really should frequent this part of the board more. Anyways, I'll be starting the beginning and play catch up for the rest of the day. Been a few years since I watched this show and I am more than willing to fall in love Kaylee all over again. She's so damn pretty. Also, I'll be editing in my thoughts as I watch. Episode 1 Episode 2 Episode 3
  6. You get a quick taste of freedom. After the opening part (where you fight the Atlas Hand), you get tossed into a encampment. You can talk to some folks, buy some shit from this crazy Chocobo Lady, and we're off to do the main quest/side questing. You can actually capture monsters now and I use the word capture loosely. Pretty much, if you do well enough in a fight, you get the monsters crystal and it acts as your third. There was some story purpose to this but the demo keeps a lot of the story elements hidden (which pissed me the fuck off, I'm pretty much playing these so you can tell me a kick ass story Square! >_< ) As far as combat goes, not a thing is different from XIII outside of the cinematic things, which are pretty cool looking but rather simplistic. The crystalarium has changed up it's look but as far as implementation, it's about the same. I'll go ahead and tell you this. If you enjoyed XIII, the changes will give you enough to do to keep it fresh while still pretty much being the same game. If hated XIII, you could probably pass on it. Nothing is to incredibly different and what they add I don't believe is going to be enough to change anybody opinions on it.
  7. Seconded. Steam just had a sale where you could pick up all the old XCOM games for 5 bucks. So I've been playing the original and Terror From The Deep like a mad man recently.
  8. They do. The Wall of Flesh is easier with more people as well. The Twins, however, can eat a thousand dicks forever. Fuck those guys. As for Corruption, I know that's the only place the Eater of Worlds can be summoned and if I remember correctly, has something to do with getting the rare metals they just added (Cobalt, Adamantite, and Mythril) once you kill a boss (which I believe is the Wall of Flesh). If you plan on getting into Terraria, I suggest you bookmark this place: It's super fucking handy to have around.
  9. Might have to get in on this. I don't play Terraria near as much as I should.
  10. All work and no play makes Hailtothechimp a dull monkey.

    1. The Brian J

      The Brian J

I was going to say "You Know It" but replacing the word "Know" with a computer term that rhymes with it, but I found this task impossible. Just FYI.

There's a reason he didn't post one, Jakey.

  12. Yeah, Yahoo! had an article about Game of Thrones about how most of the actors involved in the show have done something incredibly popular in the fantasy movie genre. I have the episode but I have yet to watch it. If it's as good as Camelot, I'm sold.
  13. What weight class is this season? Middleweights amiright?
  14. To be fair, we don't really know how often we'll be jumping back to Varic telling your story. But I am interested in how they plan on telling the story. His tale is supposed to span ten years of Hawke and how he became the Champion of Kirkwall. The way it looks to me, it appears that their might be some more stuff to do after he finishes his tale about it. You are right on about how it will effect gameplay though. The journal system is setup like Mass Effect's is though so you have lists of Main Quest, Secondary Quest, Companion Quest, etc. Unless your talking about moving forward in the main quest without realizing that you've missed some side quests.
  15. This was the first thing I thought of when I dived into the combat. I love Dynasty Warriors and with the added Dragon Age abilities, I was giddy every time I got the opportunity to wreck some face. I remembered most of the important stuff, but I was having some problems remembering what city was which and so on. They seemed to be running from Ostagar, but when Flemyth appeared and was all like "LOL THE GREY WARDENS ARE A BIT OUT OF THE WAY" I couldn't for the life of me figure out where they were going, because surely the entirety of the Grey Wardens were back at Ostagar? They were running away from Lothering (the little shanty village where you get Sten from) after the Darkspawn swept out of the Kocarhi Wilds, which is the forest you went through in the first game before the huge battle, The Battle of Ostagar, where King Callain died. The Hawke Family & Co. were running to another continent away from Ferelden called the Free Marshes, where Kirkwall lies (the city they are fleeing too) because they have a family estate there. As for the classes. I loved the Rogue. Two Weapon Rogues were my favorite to play as in Origins and they were a blast to play in the demon. Archery with the Rogue was pretty fun too. The Hail of Arrows ability along with the status affecting arrows were good fun. The Mage I think was my favorite. Magic feels faster and much more powerful then it did in the first game. I played a Two-Handed Warrior and just marveled at their abilities. Seriously, using any of their abilities during the first part where you're so over-powered was glorious. One hit kills with heaps of dismemberment & blood, especially when you get surrounded and unleash Whirlwind. Plus, they added more reach effects so if you have three guys in front you, the others next to your target will take some damage too. Really love what they did with Dragon Age 2. March 8th cannot get here soon enough.
  16. Somebody do a Hailtothechimp please. I won't be able to get this for another month or so.

  18. Or Rock Band will declare victory and continue onward like it has...
  19. Space. It goes on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a giant gorilla starts throwing barrels at you.

  20. Wonderful. I need this game. Good or bad, I need to play this. Now.
  21. If they have Bane break Batsy's back, this movie better be long as fuck. Like 2 and a half hours plus. Cause the only way that's going to happen is if he breaks it early on in the film and spends the rest of the film trying to rehab to get back at him.
  22. I was always more of Doink or Bam Bam Bigelow man on Wrestlemania The Arcade Game. But this looks fun as hell. I hope we get a demo of it before the release because I really wanna get my hands on it to see how well it plays first. As for replay value, I am sure it's got online and stuff like that. I'd really like a CAW for this too.
  23. F That! It's Me, It's Me, It's D! D! P!

  24. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Hope you had an awesome Christmas.
