  1. So Gotham is back. Just watched the 2nd episode of the new season:
  2. According to the German website Wrestlinggames.de who puts an article on WWE.com that seems to have been taken down as a source the entire DLC plan for WWE 2K17 looks like this: Future Stars: Austin Aries, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Mojo Rawley & Tye Dillinger (8,99$) Legends: Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Eddie Guerrero, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Sycho Sid & Tatanka (8,99$) NXT Enhancement: Apollo Crews, Nia Jax, Shinsuke Nakamura (9,99$ (Xbox One & PS4) / 4,99$ (Xbox 360 & PS3)) There will also be a Showcase corresponding this year's Hall Of Fame Class: Cactus Jack & Diamond Dallas Page vs. The Fabulous Freebirds (Jimmy Garvin & Michael “P.S.” Hayes) (WCW Saturday Night 1992) The Fabulous Freebirds (Buddy Roberts & Michael “P.S.” Hayes) vs. Kerry & Kevin Von Erich (WCCW 1986) Ivory vs. Jacqueline (SmackDown 2000) Sting (gold and black tights) vs. Ric Flair (Clash of Champions 1988) Sting (n.W.o. Wolfpac ring gear) vs. Bret Hart (WCW Halloween Havoc 1998) Papa Shango vs. The Godfather (Dream Match) Big Boss Man (with Albert) vs. Big Show (Armageddon 1999) There will also be an additional move pack including Charlotte's Swingout Neckbreaker, Zack Ryder's Elbro Drop, Samoa Joe's Face Wash Combo as well as TJ Perkin's TJP Clutch sold for 3,99$. As always there is the accelerator which lets you unlock everything right from the getgo for 4,99$ and MyPlayer Kickstart (I think that gives you a stat-boost for MyCareer) for 9,99$. The Season Pass includes the "Future Stars" and "Legends" pack, the "Hall Of Fame" showcase, the move pack and the accelarator for 29,99$. No NXT pack. I'm gonna skip this again.
  3. There is. The blond girl that is stealing Miley's brain (or whatever that gross pink jelly thing was) is nude in the entire video. You can even clearly see her vagina at one point.
  4. I feel this should be put in spoilers and tagged NSFW. How is this video still available on youtube? Any other video with that amount of nudity would've either been deleted or flagged so you had to veverify your age before watching it.
  5. I finished the "Nuka World" DLC yesterday and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. Not only is it too short but unless you play a bad character willing to work with Raiders there isn't really that much to do for you. Spoilers
  6. I think that I have encountered a bug while playing the "Nuka World" expansion. While exploring the area around the main park I discovered a building called the "Grandchester Mystery Mension". You have to buy a ticket from a robot outside (or just steal one of the tickets in his booth) to enter the mension. You take part in a tour with announcements regarding the history of the house coming from speakers. Eventually you get to a room that looks like a gift shop. When you enter the door leading to it you are attacked by an Assaultron and a Protectron. After taking care of them you are supposed to enter the next room but I can't do that since there seems to be some kind of invisible wall that keeps me from going through the door. I've searched the entire house (well, at least the areas I can go too) for alternative paths but found nothing I have left and re-entered that house to see if that helps. It didn't. I'm supposed to go through that door. Can anyone here help me with this?
  7. The guy in the gif is a youtuber named boogie2988. He makes vlogs about video games and nerd culture. From what I've seen of him he is a swell guy. For some of his videos about video games and games in general he has created an alter-ego called "Francis The Gamer" who is from what I can gather his take on all the gamers on youtube who are angry and scream profanities all the time. The gif is from a video in which "Francis" gets angry because one of his friends quits a party of "Settlers Of Catan" just as he is about to win.
  8. I watched Suicide Squad 2 days ago and boy was that one incoherent, scattershot mess. And Jared Leto's Joker is horrible. He is not interesting. He has no presence, menace or charisma. He is just boring and there is no point to him being in this movie. Margot Robbie is good as is Viola Davis. And eventhough I think they got the character of Deadshot wrong Will Smith is a good actor so he was fun to watch as well. Other than that it was a huge disappointment though.
  9. It really is. I was so gripping that I had to binge it within 2 days.

    Narcos

I think this show is so good it deserves it's own topic. Narcos is a show produced by Gaumont International Television for Netflix about the rise and fall of infamous Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar (played by Wagner Moura who you might know fromt he Elite Squad Films and from a small role in "Elysium"). The story is told from the perspective from two fictional DEA agents Steve Murphy (played by Boyd Holbrook with a bad mustache) and Javier Peña (Pedro Pascal aka Oberyn Martell from GoT) who where send there to bring him down. They use a mix of their own footage and real news footage to tell the story which I love because it reminds you that all this insanity really happened. The first season premiered in the end of August last year and covers Escobar's rise to infamy from 1975 to his highly publicized prison break from his own luxury prison "La Catedral" in July 1992. The 2nd Season will cover the last year and a half of his life and debuts today.

    Connected Songs

From the top of my head: Dream Theater have the Twelve-step Suite written by former drummer Mike Portnoy when he was still in the band. It is comprised of five songs. One on each album from Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence to Black Clouds & Silver Linings. As the title suggests the songs deal with Portnoy's alcoholism and his process of getting sober. Helloween have "Keeper On The Seven Keys" on "Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part II" released in 1988 which is about a hero defeating evil by throwing 7 keys he got from 7 Keepers into 7 seas. Then in 2005 they did "Keeper Of The Seven Keys: The Legacy" which includes the song "King For A 1000 Years" which vaguely continues the story. Apparently the Keepers were betrayed. Someone told the evil force the location of the 7th key in the 7th sea and it is now looking for someone to serve as his terrestrial hand to presumably hunt down the other keys in the other seas. They also have "Perfect Gentlemen" from the "Master Of The Rings" album which deals with someone who is a modern-day Casanova. 16 years later on the album "7 Sinners" they released the song "Who Is Mr. Madman?" in which we learn that all his lust has driven him insane and that he ended up in an asylum. Metallica have the Unforgiven Trilogy. Megadeth have "Hangar 18" on "Rust In Peace" and "Return to Hangar" on "The World Need's A Hero" Iron Maiden have their songs about the prostitute Charlotte. "Charlotte The Harlot" from their debut, "22, Acacia Avenue" from "Number Of The Beast", "Hooks In You" from "No Prayer For The Dying" and the final song "From Here To Eternity" on "Fear Of The Dark". Rage have a number of songs about their mascot the "Soundchaser". According to them those creatures hyprids with organic and mechanic parts. They were created by the Great Old Ones from Lovecraft stories when they ruled the earth. They are blind creatures who have a very advanced sense of hearing which they used to hunt their prey. When the Great Old Ones fell into their deathlike sleep these Soundchasers withdrew into a cave system under the Arctic. They have used them on their covers for the first time in 1988 on the "Perfect Man" album. The first time they were mentioned was in the song "Lost In The Ice" which is about a team of archeologists finding the caves these creatures lived in on an expedition in the Artic. You could also interpret the lyrics of the song "Refuge" from the same album to be told from the perspective of the last surviving Soundchasers wanting to be left alone. In 2003 they released an entire concept album about the subject called "Soundchaser". Accept wrote a song called "Generation Clash" for their "Eat The Heat" album from 1989 with new singer David Reece. When original singer Udo Dirkschneider returned in the early 90s they wrote "Generation Clash II".
  12. I now this is nitpicking but they never get the look of the WCW ring right. I don't think WCW used real rope for the ring ropes. I think they used steel cables in rubber hoses. And the turnbuckle pads don't look right either. I hope you can turn off the 90s WWE logo as well as the Twitter handle. As for Goldberg, he looks weird. The entrance is acurate. They got his mannerisms right and it's a nice touch that they show him coming out of the looker room with a police officer but it all feels so lifeless.
  13. Hannibal. First half of Season 3 was terrible but the 2nd half was awesome and it's a shame that no one wanted to pick it up after ABC dropped it. And Crossing Jordan. Not in the sense that it needed more seasons. But in the sense that the show never got a proper finale. It simply ended one day.
  14. I don't think it was just that. It was a huge part of it. But I also remember the very first episode in which he gave that sermon to the Kindergarten teacher about how you can't die with dignity and this sentence that he said to Cuddy after Kutner killed himself: " : If he'd thought like me then he'd of known that living in misery sucks marginally less than dying in it. "
  15. I don't know. I don't see House committing suicide given how hard he was on his patients who gave up on life.
  16. As much as I love House I feel that the final two seasons where a bit underwhelming. They made a big deal about House finally getting clean in the beginning of Season 6 only to have him relapse again in Season 7 when Cuddy dumps him and people act like it's no big deal at all. Not even Wilson seems that concerned about House going on a binge in a hotel room with hookers. Then we get Masters who I liked and in my opinion added something to the show. But unfortunately there is this unwritten rule that the female doctor on House's team has to look like a model so she leaves again to be replaced by a returning 13 who does exactly nothing and buggers off 3 episodes into Season 8 because Hollywood is calling. Lisa Edelstein is now gone as well which is a shame. I have now illusions about House and Cuddy ever getting together again after House drove his car into Cuddy's dining room in the Season 7 finale but it would've been nice if she had gotten a proper final appearance. We do get two new doctors. Dr. Park who seemed like a neutered, Asian version of Masters and Dr. Adams whose name I had to look up because her character was so bland that I couldn't remember a thing about her other than that there was another female doctor on the team. But she is attractive and since Dr. Park is the one with all the quirks I suppose the writers thought that was enough. But despite all that I liked Season 8 more than Season 7 and the finale was great. Although I wouldn't classify it as a happy ending like so many others seem to do. Yes, House and Wilson drive into the sunset together but Wilson still has terminal cancer. Eventually he will die. And once that happens what is next for House? Would it really be that easy for him to make a fresh start, meet new people and to not be a doctor? Who else does he have left in his life now that Wilson is dead? Foreman who may or may not know that House is alive? I suppose he could live together with Alvie. But that wouldn't be a permanent solution. Then there is is drug dependencies. I think loved ones dying is the kind of thing that throws a former drug addict off course and cause them to relapse. And given that House was such an extreme addict I think it is a certainty that he will relapse. Maybe I'm being too pessimistic but I think it's likely that House would end up as a junkie on the streets.
  17. Why even remake that movie? Does the average person who isn't a film buff even remember Ben-Hur other than that it was a big movie from nearly 60 years ago? I'm not saying that it doesn't have it's well deserved place in movie history but I don't think there is that big of an audience for it and the low box office numbers seem to validate my concerns.
  18. Grey's Anatomy: Here is a show that jumped the shark so often, so hard and so high that it is now orbiting the earth. Should've ended years ago.
  19. Doesn't The Walking Dead fit the bill as well? I haven't watched it myself but from what I've heard and read it started out good but got worse as the show progressed.
  20. If ER would've turned into some bizarro world black comedy parody of tiself after that episode I would've been able to swallow that scene. But as is it was just too over the top for the show. It would not have felt out of place in a random episode of Grey's Anatomy.
  21. Are you talking about the death of Dr. Romano? That was bullshit. To me that is the moment where the series jumped the shark. It was interesting to see him implode after loosing his arm in that accident on the helipad. After all one of the only reasons they kept him around despite being such an incredible cunt was that he was a great surgeon. But they they really have to drop a goddamn helicopter on his head? Wasn't there another way to write him out? Something that isn't so ridiculous? Or at least film it in a way where there isn't ample time for him to jump out of the way. He probably still would've been hurt but at least the damn thing wouldn't have crushed him. The only good things about that situation was Dr. Morris bad joke about Romero insulting a helicopter in a previous life and that joke when Dr. Weaver opens the "Robert Romano Center for Gay, Lesbian, Bi and Transgendered Health Care" in his memory (Romano was homophobic) and the joke someone makes that Romero's prosthetic arm would come alive and strangle her for it.
  22. ER: Should've ended after Dr. Green passed away. Not that the Seasons following it are downright terrible but they are just nowhere near as good as the original run. It was just like any other medical drama. Which is a shame given how unique ER was when it first started. Scrubs: I don't think the final season of Scrubs was particularly terrible. I think if they were given just a little more time to smooth out the concept and develop the new characters a bit futher it could've been something entertaining. The problem was that it aired hot on the heels of what I consider to be one of the best show finales ever in Season 8. I think it would've been well received if it was marketed as a spin-off show rather than simply another Season of Scrubs. True Detective: I'm in the camp of people who didn't find Season 2 as terrible as everyone else seems to. I think it was an entertaining watch. But the first Season was so perfect that it doesn't need a successor. They just should've ended it after that. American Crime Story: I know it is stupid to preemptively criticize a TV show before it has even aired. But I just have a hard time believing that they will be able to catch lightning in a bottle twice. Dexter: Another obvious one. The last Season was just terrible. Two And A Half Men: I'm one of those weird people who enjoyed the show when Charlie Sheen was still part of it. Should've ended after he was fired.
  23. New Running Wild Song "Black Bart" from the new album "Rapid Foray" coming out next week. If the rest of the album is that good this might be the best album they've done since Rivalry in 1998.
