  1. Grey's Anatomy That was a great Season finale to a otherwise disappointing season. Unbeleivable that this show has been going on for 13 seasons. 2 more seasons and they will be on par with E.R. season-wise.
  2. His family disputes the coroner's report. In a statement they say that if he commited suicide " he did not know what he was doing, and that drugs or other substances may have affected his actions. Without the results of toxicology tests, we do not know what was going on with Chris—or if any substances contributed to his demise.”. They also say that he could've taken a high dose of the anti-anxiety drug Ativan (for which he had a legal pescription) and that there is medical literature that "indicates that Ativan can cause paranoid or suicidal thoughts, slurred speech and impaired judgment.” In a different statement his wife says that she talkd to him before the show and that they were making plans for a vacation over Memorial Day amongst other things. She also says that when they spoke after the show he was different and slurring his lines and that he said he may have taken an extra Ativan or two. Source: MetalSucks.net
  3. Has there ever been a country that placed last three times in a row? If not there is a good chance that Germany will set that record tonight.
  4. That is the kind of stuff I want more of in Eurovision!
  5. Again I feel that this entire situation could've been avoided if Steve would've just fused with Connie or if Amethyst, Garnet and Pearl fused right away when the 2 Topazes took Steven away. Why the hell did they just stand there and watch? And why didn't they call Lapis to help them?
  6. About the final scene in the most recent epidose of Grey's Anatomy
  7. I've listened to a youtube playlist with all the songs. The Albanian song could be the opening to a James Bond movie with different lyrics. I really liked that song. The same goes for the Georgian entry. So naturally neither of these make it to the finale. The only other entries that stood out where Croatia, because the singer switched from normal singing to operatic singing throughout the song, and Romania, because they somehow managed to incorporate yodeling into their otherwise boring song. And they somehow made it into the finale. Italy does have a nice song as well. The rest didn't do anything for me. I remember when Eurovision used to be a hodgepodge of curiosities and novelty songs. They also tried to work the colture of their country into the songs. Sometimes that worked well and sometimes it didn't. But it was always fun to watch. Nowadays all you get is generic, boring pop music crap that sounds like something you could actually hear on the radio. Someone suggested that it is this way because nowadays it aren't just the viewers at home that are voting but a jury as well. I suppose Eurovision isn't just for me anymore.
  8. It doesn't really bother me that Peridot is mostly used as comic relief now. She still is my favorite Gem. But I'm disappointed in how underutilized Lapis ist. The writes seem to have mostly forgotten about her.
  9. I'm not denying that the episode was awesome. I'm just saying that I care more about Mike, Gus and Don Hector than I do about Jimmy, Chuck and Kim.
  10. I'm calling it. In the final episode Westeros lies in ruins. All the major characters have died in the war of Dragons and the White Walkers. Only small groups of peasants and soldiers have survived. Then one day Genrdy lands on the docks of what used to be King's Landing looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger in "Conan the Barbarian" from rowing all those years. He roams through the ruins of the capitol. Finally he arrives at the remains of the Red Keep. Underneath the mountains of rubble of what used to be the throne room he uncovers the Iron Throne. Finally the true king of Westeros has arrived. And he leads the country into a glorious future.
  11. Here are two new songs from Iced Earth's upcoming album "Incorruptible" which will be released on June 16th via Century Media records. They sound good. Their last album war pretty boring but if the rest of the songs are of the same caliber as these two it might be good: Rage will release their new album "The Seasons Of Black" on July 28th via Nuclear Blast. It will be released just 14 months after the last album "The Devil Strikes Again". The album will consist of 11 tracks. In a Facebook video the band mentioned that they recorded 18 tracks all together and that the rest of the tracks will be re-arranged and re-recorded songs from their Avenger phase (Avenger was the band's name from 1983 to 1985 before they were known as Rage). The album was produced by the band itself and mixing & mastering was handled by Dan Swanö. I'm very much looking forward to that one. Source: Nuclear Blast Records Swedish Power Metal band Dream Evil will release their new album "Six" on May 26th via Century Media Records. They released a music video for the song "Dream Evil" and I wasn't impressed. Now they released a 2nd music video for the song "Antidote" and I have to say they won me over. It is as cheesy as you would expect from these guys. In a recent interview Judas Priest singer Rob Halford revealed that the band was almost done recording the follow-up to 2014's "Redeemer Of Souls". The Album is being produced by Tom Allom, Andy Sneap (who also produced all Accept album ever since their return and the latest Saxon record as well) and Mike Exeter. So we have that to look forward to this year as well. Source: Blabbermouth.net And now for something that isn't Metal but Metal-related: The Night Flight Orchestra is the side-project of Soilwork singer Björn Strid. They will release their third album "Amber Galactic" on May 19th via Nuclear Blast Records. Their sound can be described as 70s/80s AOR with slight Disco influences á la late Dynasty-era Kiss. It is really good. If you are into classic rock at all I recommend you to check it out. And finally Swedish retro Hair Metal band Crazy Lixx have just released their new album "Ruff Justice" via Frontiers Music. Outside of the USA were such bands still seem to have an audience Scandinavia seems to be the only place where this kind of music still prospers. It is really good stuff.
  12. There are rumors making the rounds that Universal is planning a Fasr And Furious spin-off staring The Rock as Agent Hobbs and Jason Statham as Decker Shaw. I'd be okay with this.
  13. Spiolers for the last episode
  14. I just watched Christopher Nolan's Memento again. It's still an amazing movie. My favorite non-Batman movie from Nolan. Watching this movie again also reminded me that there was a remake announced in late 2015. Although as of today there haven't been any updates on that so I hope that the idea has been scrapped. I don't see the point of the re-make. The original still holds up. I don't see any way in which this story could be told any better. And if you would film a modern day version you'd have to make some substantial changes to the movie. No one usses Polaroid cameras anymore. Modern Leonard would probably have a smartphone with which he not only can take pictures and notes but also record video and audio, making it much harder for other to manipulate him as they did in the original. Hiding all the pens so he can't take nots and waiting 10 minutes until his short-term memory is reset is easy. Stealing his smartphone without him noticing or trying to hack into his smartphone is much harder to do.
  15. Veteran German metal band Accept will release their new album "The Rise Of Chaos" on August 8th via Nuclear Blast Records. It is the first album fir new guitar player Uwe Lilis (ex-Grave Digger, ex-Rebellion) and drummer Christopher Williams (War Within). Source: Blabbermouth.net Also Edguy will release a Best-Of set called "Monuments" on July 14th to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The Album will consist of 20 of their classic tracks from their back catalogue (old and fast stuff too), 5 new songs and one unreleased song from the "Savage Poetry" seasons of 1995 that has been re-recorded. The set also comes with a DVD that includes a show recorded during their "Hellfore Club" Tour in 2004 and all their videoclips. Vocalist and bandleader Tobias Sammet says that if you enjoyed Edguy's last record you'll enjoy the 5 new songs as well. Source: Edguy Facebook And here is the music video for the song "No More Lies" from the band "The Unity" which is the band of Gamma Ray members guitarist Henjo Richter and drummer Michael Ehre along with members of Ehre's old band Love.Might.Kill.: DragonForce will releasr their new album "Reaching Into Infinity" May 19th via earMUSIC. Tracklist: 01. Reaching Into Infinity 02. Ashes Of The Dawn 03. Judgement Day 04. Astral Empire 05. Curse Of Darkness 06. Silence 07. Midnight Madness 08. WAR! 09. Land Of Shattered Dreams 10. The Edge Of The World 11. Our Final Stand 12. Hatred And Revenge (Special Edition Bonus) 13. Evil Dead (Special Edition Bonus) New Songs Judgement Day Curse Of Darkness Source: Blabbermouth.net
  16. So I just watch another one of those react videos from the FineBros Youtube channel. They were playing the new Harry Styles song to a bunch of kids. And I can't beleive that I'm writting this but I actually enjoyed a song by a OneDirection member.
  17. Batman & Robin (1997) - Most of you will already know this one. It was director Joel Schumacher's second shot at Batman. And while with Batman Forever it feels like they at least tried to make a decent Batman movie, this is just terrible. I mean, where do you even begin with this one? The misguided casting of Clooney as Batman and Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze? The decision to turn the dark, gothic Gotham City Tim Burton had created into a neon colored nightmare? The terrible script? The bad jokes and Schwarzenegger's constant one-liners about Ice? Robin becoming precursor to Episode II's Anikin in terms of being a completely unlikable whiner who complains all the time? That they have basically turned this movie into a big-budget 90s version of the 60s TV Show? That Batman and Robin have batnipples on their suits and Batgirl doesn't? The infamous Bat-Credit Card? It's a train wreck! It is also hilarious to watch. The Legend of the Titanic (1999) - You know about all the movie adaptations and documentaries made about the Titanic? Screw them all! This animated Italian cinematic masterpiece cuts through all the bullshit to tell you the true story about how the Titanic sunk: A gang of evil sharks fool an impressionable octopus into heaving an iceberg from the bottom of the ocean to the surface. Why do they do that? Because the evil stepmother of our protagonist is mad that her stepdaughter will not marry the evil whaler that she had picked out for her. Let me repeat: The evil stepmother of out protagonist is mad because her stepdaughter won't marry the guy she picked out for her. So the stepmother and the guy conspire with an evil gang of sharks to sink the ship. Of course nobody died on the Titanic as the octopus who really sank it saved everyone and they all lived happily ever after...This movie has to be seen to be believed. Titanic: The Legend Goes On (2000) - What is it with Italian cinema and the Titanic? This is yet another animated movie for children that tells the story of the Titanic. And while this version is nowhere near as absurd as The Legend Of The Titanic, it is still a badly animated, badly written mess. It also has racially insensitive Mexican mice and a rapping dog. In 1912.
  18. You're telling me that Bob Ross wasn't born with an afro and beard? I don't beleive you. This has to be fake news.
  19. http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/04/04/persona-5-blocks-ps4-share-features-atlus-threatens-copyright-strikes-for-late-game-streaming So apparently Atlus are are saying that if youtubers and streamers stream or post late-game content they "do so at the risk of being issued a content ID claim or worse, a channel strike/account suspension" because they don't want the plot of the game to be spoiled for people who haven't played it yet. Also the content share function of the PS4 has been disabled for the game. They know that this won't work, right? They have to know that there are a lot of people who will see this threat as an invitation to spoil the shit out of the game. And according to Jim Sterling's video about this they are already doing it. Haven't they heard of the Streisand effect? On a related note: Watch out for spoilers on all social media platforms.
  20. Hellraiser

    Linkin Park Facts.

I had no idea about that. That's a really despicable thing to do. Have Journey ever explained why they didn't stick with Jeff Scott Soto as a vocalist? He was with them briefly from 2006 to 2007. I think he was a good fit for the band and his voice is a lot more distinct from the Perry-clone they have now.
