  1. And of course there is a collector's edition which will have it's own bonus content that, if the way they handled it with WWE 2K17 is anything to go by, will probably not be covered by the season pass. I'm willing to pay the extra 30 bucks for the season pass if it really covers all the bonus content. But if it is like last year and there still is bonus content that I'll have to pay another 10 bucks extra for despite having bought the season pass I'll skip this again.
  2. There are 1985 and 1986 scenarios. But IIRC they weren't done by the same people behind the 1989-2001 historical scenarios that most people use.
  3. My guess is that he is talking about EWR and to my knowledge there has never been a 1987 or a 1988 scenario for EWR. You can take the 1989 scenario and edit it depending on which promotion you want to use.
  4. So I'm watching the Mummy movies with Brendan Fraser again. I completely forgot just how much fun those movies were. Why did it take them so long to make a sequel? It took them 7 years to make another one. And why didn't they make another one after that? The first 2 movies were very successful. And eventhough the 3rd one was panned by critics it made about as much money as the first two did. So why did it take them so long to make another one of these?
  5. J Okay, I just binge-watched Season 3 and I have to revise my statement. Zack is as bad as prequel Anikin. I'd even put him on the same level as Joffrey. Fucking hell. Can't wait to see that little shit kick the bucket.
  6. I don't think he is as bad as adult Anikin Skywalker in the prequels or Robin in "Batman & Robin" but he comes close.
  7. Anyone here watching "The Strain"? I just finished the 2nd season.
  8. So House Of Cards Season 5 has been released. I binged it.
  9. There was a movie based on a story arc in the light novel to which this Endless Eight bullshit serves as set-up. They also did a series of animated shorts released on Youtube in which the characters are animated all cutesy and in which elements of the Anime are parodied. It is sorta like Teen Titans Go if you're familiar with that.
  10. So I skipped to the end of the eight episode because there is no way in hell that I will watch the same episode another 4 times. I was expecting for Kyon to confess his love to Haruhi to break the loop because this is what Itsuki the esper suggests in every loop. Also they suggest that the reason for the loop is that Haruhi feels like she didn't make the most of her summer and I thought the thing that was missing from her list of things to do might be a summer romance. And I've been getting the impression that she might care more for Kyon than she lets on. But that wasn't it at all. It was homework. Kyon suggests that they all help him do his homework that he hadn't done yet. Because apparently that is what makes Haruhi's summer experience whole. And she didn't think of it because she already did all her homework in the first three days of the summer break. There wasn't any real payoff to this mess. We didn't learn anything new abut Haruhi. We still have now idea about how she gained her powers and why she is so special. We didn't learn anything new about any of the other characters. They wasted 8 episodes out of a 14 episode season for nothing. The makers of this show have to be the biggest trolls ever. Okay, maybe not Hideaki Anno-"The End of Evangelion"-big but still pretty big. Edit: There are people who actually defend this bullshit because apparently it is a set-up for the storyline of the movie that was released after the anime finished. Yuki is the only character who can remember every of the over 15000 loops because she is the human form of some kind of god-like entity that somehow isn't bound to the rules of time and space. And therefore her memory isn't erased every time the loop starts again. So she went through the same 2 weeks over 15000 times. And that causes here to go crazy or something. It is monotonous by design and the point is to get us to share the plight of Yuki. I suppose that makes sense and it is kinda admirable that they go through these lengths to explore one of their characters. But I'd argue that the same effect could have been achieved without doing the same episode 8 times over. Especially if you take into account that in the light novel this anime is based only the last loop is covered.
  11. They really do this shit for 8 episodes? Why would they do that? What is gained by basically doing the same episode 8 times over? How does it make the arc better? I would love to see the thought process behind this because I just don't get it.
  12. I'm watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya right now. How long will this time loop storyline last? I'm like 4 episodes into it right now and although the concept is intriguing seeing the same episode play out again and again with minor cosmetic differences is getting tedious.
  13. It's fun in a "so bad it's good" way like The Room or Plan 9 from Outer Space. If you have some friends over and need a movie to riff on MST3K-style I'd highly recommend it. But that doesn't make it a good movie to me.
  14. To me the worst Bond movies are Die Another Day, Moonraker and Live And Let Die. Licens To Kill isn't good but it doesn't even come close to be as bad as these three.
  15. Plus it had one of he best bond villains in ages. Silva was so good! A shame that he only showed up at the 30 minute mark because I would've loved to see more of him.
  16. I wouldn't call Skyfall rubbish. It was rather good until they got to the "Home Alone for grown-ups" part at the end.
  17. I agree on License To Kill but Living Daylights was by far the best Bond film of the 80s and a highlight of the franchise in general.
  18. My Bond ranking: Pierce Brosnan Roger Moore Daniel Craig Timothy Dalton Sean Connery George Lazenby
  19. He was a good James Bond. Most of his Bond movies were garbage though. Not on his account though. The only bond movie of his that I really enjoyed was "For Your Eyes Only".
  20. He is talking about Alien: Resurrection. Alien 3 has nothing to do with it. And are we at the point where they should maybe simply stop to do Alien movies all together? They made 8 movies now, counting those 2 AVP movies, and only 2 of them have been genuinely good. And whatever happened to that Alien movie Neill Blomkamp wanted to do? Has that been scrapped?
